These MiG’s are so creepy that I nearly vomited. And then I realized ….

Just the sound and scale on tarmac should have made it very clear they were hobby models.

The sound, yes. I did notice the first one made such an incredible ascent immediately as it left the ground and wondered if any pilot could withstand the G-forces. The agility of both planes is also suspicious but I didn't notice anything wrong with the scale of the tarmac until they landed and I realized that large post standing there is actually a person.

There is also the quality and history of Russian aircraft and their transparency.

It would have been of much less quality or cartoonish or so obviously fake as to be laughable. I remember when they tried to pass this one off:

You are walking faster than you can run. Nobody is trying 'to pass off' anything. Read what it says:

" ... amazing aerobatic manoeuvers that even the full size pilots cannot perform".

    No "passing off".

    Really guys?...... This BS again?

Do folks honestly not recognize CGI when they see it???

Those clearly aren't real planes, and no... they are not live action hobby models either, even if that's what they're based off of.
The whole video is computer generated... I mean seriously... open your eyes people....

    Here is the original thread...
    http://www.politicalforum.com/index...ter-looks-like-it-is-in-a-space-movie.545095/

Yes, folks start off trying to pass these things off as real planes,
then others chime in and try to claim its a video of physical hobby models,
when in truth its neither! Real models do exists, but they don't do all the phony maneuvers and what not.

Are people seriously falling for this?????

There is no hoax intended. Just read what is written beneath the video: " ... amazing aerobatic maneuvers that even the full size pilots cannot perform. Filmed action from the Aerofly RC 7 flight simulator."

I watched the video that I uploaded without first reading the above message so any confusion I may have experienced was my own fault. But I did not try to pass it off as anything that it wasn't. If you read my intro comment it is clear I made no attempt.

    It isn't "filmed action",...
again, the stuff in both of those videos is pure CGI.
And yet we've got Robert over there comparing it to real F-22 Warplanes,
Cerberus giving Kudos to "the pilot", and several posters in that thread and this one calling them hobby models,
as if real life RC planes could pull those maneuvers... FYI folks, when a poster says the plane looks like its in a space movie...
that's because it is... These videos are being produced in a "simulation", one which apparently does not adhere very closely to reality...

You've never been mistaken? I have, many times. I'm what's called "a human".

All I'm saying, is that anyone who thought either of those videos was something other than what they were needs to start paying a lot more attention to detail. If you're so easily confused by such obviously computer-generated imagery, imagine the potential consequence/how quickly you'll get the wool pulled over your eyes when someone of malicious intent tries to fool you with something a bit more sophisticated... humans are flawed sure, but they shouldn't be this flawed. At any rate, if one makes a mistake they should not only acknowledge it, but also commit to doing better in the future... /my 2cents.

I'm 72 years old, I am an Army war veteran & as a civilian, I have been to several other countries "at war", I have circumnavigated the globe over-land all alone, and I have been shot at, attacked with rocks, and had guns pointed at me and bombs dropped on my LZ. People have tried to rob me, trick me, and scam me ... but so far no one has succeeded. If I do mistake a film of a fake plane for a film of real one I can take it like a man ... as long as someone doesn't try to get me to purchase it.
Did you miss it? If so, you need to start paying a lot more attention to detail.

What does any of that have to do with your thread topic?...

What exactly is your idea as to what constitutes... taking it "like a man" ?

I don't believe I've missed anything, nor have I missed your hostile and defensive tone.
If you're mad because you made an error, you shouldn't take that out on others.
Nor should you blame others for simply pointing out said error.

Again, all you need is to acknowledge the error and commit to doing better in the future.
If you feel you already did both of those things, then cool. But its no skin off my back btw if you don't, as I am here
to give advice to anyone who might be fooled, not just you, such that they might improve and not fall for the same tricks more than once.

Seeing that you are taking it so personally and making a string of absurd conclusions, maybe you should just delete it and get a good night's sleep.

    Hey, that's my line!

It isn't night-time where I'm at. (I live in the states btw)
And exactly what "absurd conclusions" are you referring to?

    My apologies & condolences.

    Its not so bad.

What exactly is so absurd about those?

Must I pay per individual use or do you have a monthly flat rate where I can use it as many times as I like within a 4-week period?
    That's good to hear.
Each one is an unfounded conclusion and not one of them is true.

Standard package is a monthly profit percentage rate, but, just for you,
I'll make a special exception and let you continue using it for free just so long as credit is given. ;)

So when you say things like,
    "I'm what's called "a human", "You've never been mistaken?"
And when you bring up your military history, your personal history of avoiding theft/deception, your ability to take your mistakes... "like a man"..., and repeated assertions denying willful deceit on your part (despite no one accusing you specifically),... you're telling me you aren't being defensive?... And that when you reply to advice by insinuating the person giving it needed it more than you, that such a thing is not taking a hostile stance towards the advice giver?... Well that's certainly how your posts came across, but if you're trying to imply that that wasn't your intent, then I guess I'll just have to take your word for it.
