The Trump supporters may be right. Maybe they should “Send Her Back” Did Omar change her name to falsify that she was part of the Omar family to get accepted as into America as a refugee In 1997? If she entered the United States under a false name, should she be sent back? Did Omar marry her brother in 2009 to get him into America while she was already married? https://www.city-journal.org/html/curious-case-ilhan-omar-14724.html
Is falsified marriage a crime? Should the person who immigrated into Untied States under false pretenses be deported? Just curious whatcha think?
So that your thread doesn't get removed, The title needs to match the title in your linked article. You have about 10 minutes left to edit the title. Good luck.
Do you think it would be Constitutional to deport her just because you don't like her? I don't particularly like her or her politics, but as far as is known, she is an American citizen who has been legally elected by the American voters of her district to represent them in Congress. Are we going to start deporting American citizens that the President doesn't like? Maybe President Warren will deport you.
I don't think she should be deported, just indicted for immigration fraud and for marrying her brother. Once she pays her debt to society, she is free to do as she pleases. I don't like her period but don't like to punish anyone based on like/dislike, just based on the laws.
Odds are she didn't. And she would need to be tried and convicted of falsifying marriage documents - a bit more than an unsubstantiated story. And she didn't need to be married to qualify to become a citizen - she was already eligible because of her parents, so why would she need to marry her alleged brother?
Don't know, probably. Maybe ask Fat Jerry? When President Trump tapped Hungarian-American immigrant Sebastian Gorka to serve in the White Dwelling, Nadler called for an investigation into how he grew to grow to be an American citizen and utilised govt sources to get him deported. Democrat Senators Dick Durbin, Richard Blumenthal and Ben Cardin experimented with to revoke his citizenship primarily based typically on media lies and smears about Gorka getting a Nazi. He isn’t a Nazi. “We generate to adhere to up on our March 17 letter urging the Department of Justice (DOJ) and Division of Homeland Protection (DHS) to quickly investigate whether or not senior White Residence counterterrorism advisor Sebastian Gorka falsified his naturalization software or if not illegally procured American citizenship. Five months have handed, yet you still have not confirmed that you are investigating these major allegations,” the Senators wrote in a letter to the Area of Justice in 2017. https://trulytimes.com/flashback-de...-deport-american-citizen-sebastian-gorka.html
Evidence to the contrary states she was still living with her brother a year after she stated he left for London and she had no contact with him.
I was asking if the person naturalized under false pretenses should be stripped of his citizenship and deported?
Your evidence is a rumor. I have no problem with her being gone. I do have a problem with threats to deport an American Citizen.
DNA test both of them and you will have your answer. Are you not curious to know if she really did marry her Brother? I would be, no matter what political affiliation it is. The evidence is circumstantial but points directly to her marrying her brother. I see why she did it, doesn't make it acceptable.
It's a little more than rumor, they have her lying about his whereabouts when she knew exactly where he was. They have her statements and they have his records. She lied and they know it.
She wasn't the one who needed to be married for naturalization - it would have been her husband. She was naturalized while still a minor.
As she was already naturalized before the marriage - be it her brother or not - she would still be a naturalized American citizen. It was the male's citizenship that would have been in question. Do you think it would be Constitutional to deport an American citizen?
This is a very interesting article that you won’t find on CNN. https://www.google.com/amp/s/alphan...ing-up-loose-threads-in-the-curious-case/amp/ I know.... I know..... it is racist to post the story, read the story, or question Omar in any way.
I don't think that they should deport an American citizen. If she broke the law to bring her brother or anyone else in, then she should just go to jail and he should be deported.
From what I hear Omar is not her last name. The Omar family allowed her to pretend to be part of their family so she could claim asylum with them. That is how she was able to pull off marrying her brother....ewww! Anyhoo, she claimed asylum under a false identity. That makes her a criminal. She also lied about it again to get her brother here. Again, she committed fraud and should go to jail for it.
