    Quoting CNN already disqualifies the thread, but does anyone else wonder why the flurry of anti-Trump posts from one poster after a week or two who suddenly disappears only to be followed up by a different anti-trump poster that hasn't been around for a while but magically appears for a similar amount of time then it's rinse and repeat with another name.

    Just shows that the standards for racism have changed. Wallace was actively (not with so-called dog whistles) proclaiming white supremacism.

    Also, doing research on the Harris polls on Wallace, I have my doubts about the article. I wish the author would show the actual data from the 1968 Harris Poll.

    This article shows that 51% of the people thought Wallace was too extreme to be President. I'd like to see the actual data from the 1968 Harris poll. I just don't trust journalists to be objective anymore.

    The only ones I can remember that could even vaguely be called "anti immigrant" had nothing to do with immigrants and everything to do with illegals.

    Being called a racist by socialists is quite comical. You do of course realize that Socialists inherently segregate people by race?

    The closet racist have had to hide their true feelings with dog whistles and crafty winks....trump does it all time....

    Wallace was blatantly racist. trump is a crafty closet racist. He knows that blatant displays of racism are not accepted today.

    Thus....he shields his hate for people of color with targeted attacks....

    Harris Poll shows it's not true that George Wallace was considered a racist by the majority of people in 1974 (only 29%) You should do your homework so you don't sound like a parrot

    It's odd that Trump supporters don't see any racism coming from Trump.

    I believe right wingers accused Obama of racism. What did he say?

    Right wingers always attack the left as being the "real" racists...what do they say?

    How come there are millions of white people that never get called racist.

    There must be a reason for that.

    If I were to make a guess, I'd say it's because they aren't racist.

    Btw, there are a lot of people (including on this forum) who seem to take issue with black pride or gay pride, etc.

    So the idea that some people are always just saying "that's nice" is quite a load.
