    I own guns as do most people in my small town, however hasn't been a murder here in decades. The people are the problem, not the tool they use. Why are so many people going crazy these days? You can't be mentally stable to do something like this.

    As bad as this is, it's worse on the other side of the fence between El Paso and Juarez, it's the same fence O'Rourke wants to tear down.

    The left are okay with tearing down the fence, letting more killers in, and then blaming guns. It just feels right.

    Try to stay with me on this. There's no problem with guns and knives, it's nut jobs. But the problem is, who are the nut jobs? One day you might be happy, the next day sad.

    In society, we need guns to control vermin, for sport etc.. Knives for camping, cooking etc.. But, it's not rocket science that some types are just not needed/suitable in a society and unfortunately, society only moves forward when we walk with the slowest.

    Another bizarre anomaly is that some Americans believe the Brits don't have guns, and it doesn't matter how many times we go over this, it JUST DOESN'T sink in. It's just that there's no reason on the planet why you need an AK. Also, the Brits take guns seriously.

    And because Americans can't get this to sink in, you will continue to shoot everyone. I know the left keep shouting "racist" at everything but the right keep shouting "more guns" at everything. I can only assume all Americans suffer the same problem, just different subjects.

    Where as just across the border from El Paso there are 200 murders every month in Juarez.
