ok let’s go deep into the capabilities of our law enforcement. Let say we ban guns ( but I believe in home protect your safe space). That means less guns are made and no more bullets will be made. So it’s not unreasonable to assume if lawmakers and enforces crack down on arms dealers illegal weapons in this country would be fewer. It’s like saying I won’t do anything with sex trafficking because there is always a source. Focus on the threat, establish the common factor, and Pursue the goal. But all we have is blame. People in Baltimore get shot on a regular basis. Odds of getting shot are pretty minimal I believe in all but the urban areas.

I do know someone (family member) who was recently hit by a [amish] woman in MD who red a red light. The woman pulled out a cell phone and announced see she would call her boyfriend to F up my family member. A large Amish man pulled up ten minutes later and jumped out of his car with hostile intent as the police arrived. Would you not want a gun in this situation?

What are the odds of being shot by a person with no criminal record and a concealed carry permit? I would say the odds are astronomical.

Truth? I don't for an iron-clad fact that this guy was a citizen of the U. S. or not -- BUT -- everything we know about him to this point suggests that he is, indeed, a citizen of the United States, and that he was born here, too, thus not "naturalized".

Here is the real reason. If you want to take the guns away, you are going to need to bring in the armed forces in to take them away. There isn't a chance in hell that conservatives are going to give up their guns without first having a war. Given that the majority of the military is conservative, the military itself would fracture in that war. You need to understand this because this is the fundamental truth. If you want to suggest REASONABLE methods to eliminate "criminals and crazies" from ever owning, possessing, or using firearms, then I, for one, am more than willing to listen and compromise if what you have to say makes sense.
