The news is playing down the Dayton shooters politics because it is far left wing but just imagine what would have been reported if they found a picture of him wearing a MAGA hat.

 

There is a huge difference in the media coverage from the El Paso shooter to the Dayton shooter and the fact that Dayton shooter was a raging leftist is exactly why.

 

They were likely the only ones who were marching under swastikas. Even Trump isn't stupid enough to not realize that people like that call for an unequivocal response. He knew exactly who these people were and he recognized them as a substantial part of his "base"
