The campaign account for Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) was suspended from Twitter after sharing a video of protesters allegedly making violent threats against the Senator, including a protester saying “just stab the *********ker in the heart.” Twitter had no problem with “Massacre Mitch” trending on the platform.

...“This morning, Twitter locked our account for posting the video of real-world, violent threats made against Mitch McConnell. This is a problem with the speech police in America today,” said campaign manager Kevin Golden. “Twitter will allow the words of ‘Massacre Mitch’ to trend nationally on their platform, but locks our account for posting actual threats against us,” Golden added. “We appealed and Twitter stood by their decision, saying our account will remain locked until we delete the video.”

Twitter has no problems with people calling to stab a sitting senator in the heart...BUT they have a problem with Mitch pointing out the threats made against him.

The insane bias of twitter, along with Google, youtube, etc is clear here.

Its a bold strategy for twitter to silence a senator who can bring down regulations on these tech companies.

    Break them up.

Perhaps our POTUS should lead by example and boycott the use of Twitter.

And I find it funny to read a so called conservative asking for big govt to step in. LOL

Odd that your suggestions always lead to the silencing the other side.

It’s a very dangerous game Twitter is playing. They’re showing how biased they are every week.

You seem to be quite a fan of Forum REDUNDANCY.

Do you ever even check for Duplicate Threads?

Or do you just start a thread any time that you see something new at Breitbart?

Anyway, back on topic, just as I commented on the Original Thread:

Mitch's Account Deserved to be Locked.

PS--The Search Function is a useful tool in preventing this sort of Absurd (Duplicate Topic) Redundancy.

Nothing personal, just a friendly reminder.:salute:

I'm not forcing anyone to be silenced. I'm simply giving all the cons the opportunity to feel safe and boycott the big mean evil twitter.

And, on topic, glad to see the account locked.

Generally boycotts are a lefty tactic, and therefore largely ineffective.

    Twitter needs to go.

    "Twitter needs to go"?:roflol:

Trump would have a Mental Breakdown.

McConnell needs to watch the sort of BS that he is spewing on Twitter.

Trump needs to be Perma-Banned from Twitter.

The OP. Who do you expect he/she wants to shut down twitter?

Also, are we sure that's what our POTUS wants? He loves himself some twitter.

I have never used twitter, never understood the fuss over it. What I saw was the article where McConnell appealed the decision from twitter and lost and complaints about it, but I saw no one asking the government for assistance.

Just remember though, people are watching and walking away. #walkaway

You know if you ignore the thread and don't post, it will get pushed towards the bottom and disappear.

Conservatives won the Supreme Court case where a private business can decide what they will, and won’t, print on their products (wedding cake) and now they want to force a private company to to print something. Whatever.

Double standard by Twitter, that is for sure. In fact it's pretty blatantly biased when you merely point out people are threatening you, then you get silenced.

Twitter will ban Trump during the run up to the 2020 election, almost guaranteed. When they do, Twitter loses a ton of support and kills itself off.

You want to force a private company to print what they don’t want to print.

Ok, that's fine. I'm sure you look at it from both points of view, especially when your side is being silenced, But why do you think twitter had such an issue with this video being shared by McConnell?
