Not only do I believe it, I have data backing it up.

"WASHINGTON - A conservative researcher's 2009 dissertation, which argued that Hispanic immigrants to the U.S. have substantially lower IQs than whites, put one of the biggest opponents to an immigration reform bill in Congress on the defensive on Wednesday.

The dissertation by Jason Richwine, then a Ph.D. candidate at Harvard University, argues that "[n]o one knows whether Hispanics will ever reach IQ parity with whites, but the prediction that new Hispanic immigrants will have low-IQ children and grandchildren is difficult to argue against. From the perspective of Americans alive today, the low average IQ of Hispanics is effectively permanent.""

All the more reason not to bring any of those socialists and communists to this country. Liberation theology is a profoundly communist belief system.

"A high-ranking communist official who defected to the United States in the 1970s now says the Soviet KGB was behind the tidal wave of “liberation theology” that swept through Catholic countries in Latin America before the opposition of Pope John Paul II effectively ended the movement. ... Liberation theology flourished through the 1970s, but began to lose steam with the election of Karol Wojtyla as pope in 1978. As John Paul II, the new pope, an anti-communist from the Soviet-dominated land of Poland, began appointing conservative bishops in Latin America whose opposition to communism was a prerequisite to their appointment. The Vatican explicitly rejected the Marxist ideology of the liberation movement in 1984."

Sadly, the current pope seems to believe in it.

Lock 'em up, I don't care. And because most of them are paid under the table, like you said, they don't pay anything into Social Security. Meaning no W-2s, no deductions.

FAIR estimated the total contributions in taxes by illegal aliens and then subtracted the total costs to US taxpayers providing illegals with free health care, free welfare, free food stamps, free education for their children, etc.:

"The approximately $46 billion in federal expenditures attributable to illegal aliens is staggering. Assuming an illegal alien population of approximately 12.5 million illegal aliens and 4.2 million U.S.-born children of illegal aliens, that amounts to roughly $2,746 per illegal alien, per year. For the sake of comparison, the average American college student receives only $4,800 in federal student loans each year." (And I would add that 12.5 million is probably low; there's probably more like 15-20 million illegals in the US.)

    https://www.fairus.org/issue/public...n-illegal-immigration-united-states-taxpayers

They're destroying our country. They are turning it into another Mexico, another Brazil, another Venezuela. This used to be a great country. Now it's a third world shithole, and only getting worse. Have you been to Miami? And I don't mean Miami Beach or Coconut Grove, I mean Little Havana or Little Haiti. That's the future of the US right there.

Still on the IQ kick. That’s a great indication you’re not well read and pitifully under informed when referring to IQ and not realizing it has no relevant connection to the way we now measure intelligence. But keep at it.....it speaks volumes about your “ so called IQ. “

You mean no one with a liberal brain. IQ is one of the most well-studied and documented differences among people in psychology, and the research supporting it is robust and unassailable. No one "in the biz" even contends that there aren't IQ differences among groups, their only discussions are about what to do about them.

There’s also studies that show people in red states who voted for Trump have much lower IQs. We could see that at the rallies

    And the least used.

But if you insist. Trump supporters ****

*The results of the testing, while not at all surprising, prove that Trump voters are drastically behind liberals and non-Trump voters on an intellectual basis,” said Dr. Carl Brewner, who headed the study. “The test was 200 questions, and each completed test gave us an average IQ score based on answers. On average, a Trump voter would score in the 30th percentile, or have an average intelligence level of about 71, far below the 90 to 110 that is considered ‘normal.’ A non-Trump voter would score an average of approximately 96.”*

    How about this study.

    tessmage.com
The Add Health study shows that the mean IQ of adolescents who identify themselves as "very liberal" is 106, compared with a mean IQ of 95 for those calling themselves "very conservative." The Add Health study is huge — more than 20,000 kids — and this difference is highly statistically significant.

I could find zero support for this claim. Of the articles that were written making similar claims, two were obviously fiction and a third from 2004 was debunked by Snopes. On the other hand, IQ and income aren't tightly correlated, but they do have a .24 positive correlation, and Trump voters outearn Clinton voters by a lot, with the high and very high income earners voting Trump by a large margin. Here's how the Washington Post put it: "One reason that coverage focuses on less well-off areas when assessing the election is that Trump did better in poorer areas even as Clinton did better with poorer voters." "More of Trump’s actual base of support was made up of wealthier Americans. He won a plurality of voters earning more than $50,000 a year, but nearly 7 in 10 of the people who actually voted for him were in that income group. (By contrast, only about 6 in 10 Clinton voters earned more than $50,000 a year.)" Going by income as a (poor) proxy for IQ, that means Trump voters outscored Clinton voters in the intelligence department.

Obviously fiction since the total would have to come close to 98, the national average. If the average Trump voter had an IQ of 71, that would mean everyone else would have to have an average IQ of 130. Since that's obviously false, the whole article is a load of hogwash. Math is your friend.

p.s. The article also said the test was untimed. Since there are no untimed IQ tests, the time taken to perform a task being an important element of IQ, that also debunks the article.

    Pretending you know math ?
No, the total does not have to come close to the national average. It’s called a sample. And no, it does not mean everyone else would have to have an average IQ of anything in particular without knowing the the number in each set.
    Math isn’t your friend.

They find a way to get around the law as long as they can cheat and steal elections. Citizens united is the dark under belly of majority suppression. It is the fuel that supports the apartheid leaning government we have in the White House and Congress now. It’s why Trump rails at illegal immigrants and hires them and feeds their appetites himself. He’s the coruptor railing agaisnt corruption. He’s the wizard of Oz handing out paper instead of independence.

Okay, so math apparently isn't YOUR friend. The article asserted that everyone who voted for Trump had an average IQ of 70. Trump won a little under half the vote, meaning the other half would have to counter the IQ=70 bit in order to reach the national average of 98. In order to hit that number, everyone else would have to have an average IQ of ~130 (a little less than that if you count third party voters). Since that's obviously not going to work/not true, we can dismiss the 1st claim as bullshit. Second bit of proof that the whole article is BS: 68% of the population falls between one standard deviation from the mean, or from 85-115. The two tails then comprise just 16% of the population each (32%/2). In order to get a mean IQ of 70, everyone from the bottom tail of the IQ distribution would have had to vote for Trump and no one else, and that would still only add up to 16% of the voting population. Since Trump won 46% of the vote, we can safely say the article is so much bullshit.

So true. The Bible requires these professing Christians to "love thy neighbor", to open their doors and homes to them, and to engage in every manner of self sacrifice for them. Yet, all we see on this forum on a daily basis is the precise opposite of those sentiments and actions.

You never had a stat class , maybe a little science thrown in .?
You can’t assume anything about the population at large or what percent of the population actually had IQ tests. This is one reason why IQ tests have run out of favor of those that know. You aren’t one of them. IQ tests only measure the takers ability to perform one test. Other then politics, there is little institutional use of IQs. But if you want to keep insisting, Trump supporters don’t do as well.

Not only did I take statistics, and not only did I ace it, I tutored it. I also took calculus for three semesters and tutored that. And I took chemistry for two semesters. We don't have to assume anything about the population, we know the average American IQ is 98, proving that article complete bullshit. And as I previously pointed out, IQ and income being loosely but positively correlated and Trump voters out-earning Clinton voters by a great deal, it seems the IQ advantage goes to Trump supporters. Liberals get more education but earn less than conservatives.

By the way, I found proof that the "red counties = poor" thing is wrong. The poorest counties nationwide all voted for Clinton.
