It was a conservative government in Australia that brought in gun reform here. I have no doubt that Trump will try to bring in gun reform if for no other reason than he would be one up on Obama

I've completed a background check for every purchase I've ever made.

What would change? The article wasn't specific

Private sales, most of my guns have been bought that way.

They are a commonly used firearm, there are 15,000,000 owned in the US.

How many mass shooters bought their guns via private transactions?

    Don’t bet on it

Trump’s polls are tanking again and the attention whore in chief loves adulation. The reception he got at ElPaso and Dayton has to be rubbing harder than concrete underwear. That executive order is calling........

The AR-15 is very popular. There are millions in private hands.

And what percent of gun deaths were caused by an AR-15?

ok gotcha, ya, not a fan of that restriction personally, i've sold a few that way back in the day, generally received about 90% of retail, if i'm forced to use a FFL to buy it from me, i'm guessing i'll get 50-60%? Not sure of the specifics there if I have to sell it back first then they re-retail it or if we just need to use a FFL to make a legal transfer, which is $20-40 depending on where you go.

These days I have zero intention of selling anything (that I might or might not own, in case anybody is listening, and ps, I know nothing about the clintons, so don't suicide me)

I actually plan on doing some more in store browsing this week, all the talk is making me push up my bucket list timeline.

I would have expected the # to be higher to be honest.

Not a big fan myself, but I never liked the tactical look/feel. I'm more of the ranch rifle type personally, partially because I like the look and feel and partially because they were skipped over the last time there were restrictions.

That would be simple just have the sale require a FFL do the check, they already do them for internet purchases and charge $25 bucks. The funny thing about gun checks though is that a criminal with bad intentions will NEVER EVER EVER DO THIS he will buy them on the street or mexico.

About one-tenth of one percent of homicides are caused by mass shooters with AR15s, a small fraction of those killed with knives and sharp objects.

    Please!

Anyone who wishes can dodge a background without even trying, not to mention there is a very short time for an approval of the background check to be approved or the buyer gets the gun anyone.

That process is a standing joke from the people in the firearm business.

Let's not even consider the absurdity that having guns of any size or quantity are fine, even if someone bothers to do the background checks when having a Nofly-List member does not even have a ripple in making guns to be considered for being that issue.

And if it's a "bad thing" that gun-owners might be unfairly included in No-Fly lists, that is a good reason to tighten up the No-Fly list, not ignore it.

    Wrong!

Less than 5% of all gun deaths are from a long gun (rifle/shotgun).

And a tiny fraction of that 5% are from AR-15's.

Most of these mass shooters couldn't even qualify as a marksman on the KD range.

More BS from the GCA's, Trumps numbers haven't appreciably changed since April.
