    To reiterate, once again:

According to those on the RW who like to "pad the stats":

This "mass shooting" in which 6 People were Injured (None Killed) is in the same category as the El Paso Massacre.

What an utterly failed (and ridiculous) "narrative" that the RW is trying to peddle.

Glad to hear that all of the Cops are OK.:flagus:

Actually, I think the Chicago mayor said something about doing something about all the illegal weapons on the street. Wow! What a novel idea.

You've been watching too many Al Pacino movies. I'm sure there are some that are, but then criminality comes in all different colors and shapes.

    https://www.politifact.com/california/article/2017/oct/04/mass-shooting-what-does-it-mean/

Pelosi’s tally of 273 mass shootings relies on the broad definition of at least four or more people killed or injured. Some of these events, however, include gang shootings or home invasion robberies, stretching the definition even further.

    Pelosi is "RW" folks...

But not always legally and that is where enforcement and prosecution is supposed to get involved, in this case it appears the enforcement worked and the prosecution totally failed.

You are parsing words. The point is that several mass shootings lately have been done with certain types of guns and ammo clips which make it easy to kill many people in a short time. If there are measures that can be taken to restrict the availability of such weapons systems I think most reasonable people would support them. I realize that it is a slippery slope and I do support the right of Americans to keep and bear arms for protection, hunting and sport shooting. Before I would support any such measure, I would like to read and hear arguments from both sides of the issue depending on the language of the legislation. I do know that many police agencies and associations are in favor of taking some steps in this regard.

Really, there has not been a mass shooting in decades where a ammo clip was used.

You really need to get an understanding of the subject before proffering false preprogrammed GCA information.

Oh, no! Someone on the internet used "clip" instead of "magazine", thereby nullifying their entire argument!

What a specious argument on your part.

Not specious at all, if someone wants to debate a subject it is incumbent upon them to understand the basics of the subject, anything less than that is not debating, it is running on emotion and parroting talking points and that is a waste of every ones time.

Nah the Dallas shooter used an SKS and I don't think he had modified it to have a detachable mag so he would've been loading it with a stripper clip

According to the records he used that or an AK-74 which uses a 30 round box mag.

And I call your BS. You knew exactly what he was referring to. You chose to dismiss his argument because he called it something you think is called something else.

    That is a specious argument.

    No, we don't.

There are more than 300 million people in the US. There are 10k or so homicides. Not only that but the violence is mostly localized to large urban areas. Most of the nation is perfectly peaceful.
You really need to calm down.

Yes I knew exactly what was being incorrectly referred to and then dismissed the person as someone who cannot bother to even understand the basics of the subject, therefore it's not worth wasting any of my time to discuss the subject with that person.

That's neither specious nor an argument, that is a decision to not communicate with someone who only knows enough to repeat what they have read, with no real understanding of the subject.

    You get it this time?

Yea I believe it's something like 12% of the country produce 80% of the gun deaths and of that 12% those areas are run by Democrats who have instilled a revolving door justice system.

They created the mess and want to punish everyone else for the s-hole living conditions they are responsible for creating.

Yeah, I get that you have no desire to educate, just denigrate those that have a differing opinion.

PROTIP: You are never going to change someone's mind by insulting them.

If someone wants to educated all they have to do is ask a question, if they want to debate they need to educate themselves.

    Good advice try following it.
