Laugh if you all want, but I'd love to have a Royal Enfield... just for short trips around town. It's definitely not a highway bike... but look at it! That's a cool bike.

How was the ride? I've heard the vibration is hell on the hands.

They all vibrated, RE, BSA. Through the seat too so you got a numb ass....handled OK though, when it wasn't broken. Tbf, I was poor so I could only buy old bikes.

Oh yeah. Honda4; the original Kawa 500 3cyl, 60bhp at the rear wheel and a flexible frame, named the Green Meanie.
Italians too, I owned Ducatis, there were Laverdis too.

All those bikes, and no pics? :(

I love old vehicles and garden tractors. Fixing them is almost more fun than using them.

They { Royal Enfields } are gaining popularity due to increased
production improvements and of course affordability.
Go to YouTube and - Itchy boots - a very courageous female from
Europe and her remarkable trek thru old Russia and terrority as she
Videos her plan to single-handidly travel { even thru Iran } while never
becoming depressed even when her Enfield breaks down a few times,
Her never-say-die mindset combined with her cheerful attitude make
her a near Joan of Arc among female long travel bikers.
She is just awesome. However not to many examples of such
    here stateside.I did read a Nice story { about 12 years ago }
about a Black Female with a goal of travelling 100,ooo miles
{ stateside } on her Honda Valkyrie Tourer. That was 100,ooo
miles in a year.I had that very bike in 2000.
I used to average 6,ooo miles a year on me motorcycles.
I've been down to less than 2,ooo miles the last 5 years.

A complete failure and ridululous waste of money even if
Brad Pitt. The bike is little more than a novelty.Very difficult to
start and even when it does it runs roughs.I doubt even Jay Leno
    a master-class collector wants one.
It is blatantly Overbuilt to the point of being unusable.
I doubt even Sturgis devotees give a crap. It's a remarkable
attempt to be above all other motorcyles.
A Motorcycle has to have chops { ability }.
I highly doubt Steve McQueen would give it a thumbs-up.
A Motorcyle HAS to work.First and foremost.

Well yer in luck. For less than $ 4,ooo you can get the brand new
Honda Super Cub 125.The Honda Super cub has been in production
since 1957-58.With just a few years off.
It is THE Most manufactured vehicle of all time.Beating out all
other motorycles as well cars. With over One Hundred Million Units being made
and sold. The little bike has no clutch on the handlebar and is a 4-speed.
It is very easy to ride and is fun.17 " wheels make it like a motorcycle
    more than a Moped.It has just 8 ponies { 8 h.p. } but it'll hit over 50 m.p.h.
in no time.Great for around town and running errands.
Honda had many colors to choose from. And a really nice cushioned
seat.Which is red because Mr.Honda loved the color red.Wore a Red
    shirt to work every day.
This year marks the 6oth anniversary of Honda in the U.S.
    Keeping in mind ...
You Meet the Nicest People on a HONDA

Motorbikes aren't for me. The Honda super club sounds like the Vespa, owned by guys that like to feel the rush of air over their vagina.

That's cool, I used to ride on the back on my Dad's Honda from Dallas to Houston when I was a kid, looked a lot like that BMW. Do you still have it?

I lol'd, literally. Those can be fun too, till your friends see you on them. I started on a Yamaha C3 scooter, which is just as bad. Went up to a 650, then the 1300. Got a 1900 outside that needs a little clutch work, but I will step up to that one after while. Right now I'm pretty focused on the 13.

Recumbent bike and trike I fabricated. The rear triangles are donor parts from Wally world, suspension Mountain bikes. Ditto front forks and the bottom bracket shell and the existing 'seat tube and down tube'. The rest is fabricated from EMT conduit and a tubing bender. The bike has a one piece leather bucket seat I cut from a half a hide I had, I punched all the holes by hand.

It has 3 12 volt lites running on 2 seperate toggle switches, as well as the rechargable 1300 lumen Bushnell on the handle bar, better lighting than many cars. Once you ride a recumbent, you wont want an unright anymore. Comfy as can be.

Want to motorize one but the frame would need radical changes.

Trikes are awesome! Fantastic urban transport. If you're careful, you can put a week's worth of groceries in those big rear baskets.

Bike admirer, but never a bike owner.

Back in my yooth, couldn't pass up a pretty Vespa. Good dirt bikes were fun, and Triumphs turned my head. All bikes really, except the giant modern highway machines in bright colours. Never liked 'em.
