    Provided he wins the upcoming election. Would you support a third term for Trump?

    He seems to believe that he should be given extra time due to the legal actions taken against him, and claims his supporters also believe this. So. Do you?

    Is there a "Hell no" option?

    As a general principle, any change that might benefit a current officeholder should be delayed to limit or avoid doing so. Congressional pay raises should take effect in the following session. Repealing the two-term limit should take effect in the next president's term. And so on.

    As another poster said, I would like an option for "Hell no." We changed the Constitution to term limit Presidents for a reason.

    Of course not. Trump is merely ribbing the left with plausible rationale. He knows how fixated they are, and that they will struggle with it while he's off doing something else. It's like a decoy flare to draw a heat seeking missile. It's bait...he's toying with the left.

    I commented more... then decided against it. Silly about sums it up.

    Presidents are limited to 2 terms. Wish we could say the same about Congress.

    As it is established law, he cannot serve a third term. Obama was urged and possibly considered such an action but in the end realized that he could not.

    I am voting for Trump 2020, but I don't think anyone should get a third term period. Now as I said before, we can get Trump Jr then for 8 then Ivanka for 8 more. Mix in a little Crenshaw for 8 and by then will Barron be old enough for 8 of his own? Oh my!
