    The unemployment rate for black workers fell from 6.0% in July to 5.5 % in August, data from the Department of Labor reveals. These number surpass the record low set in May 2018 of 5.9% for black unemployment.

    130,000 jobs were added in August, about 30,000 fewer jobs than were added in July. Unemployment remained at 3.7 %, consistent with the last three months. The labor force participation rate slightly rose from 63.0% in July to 63.2% in August.

    Another record set under the Trump administration.

    During the Obama years, the records were for black child poverty-it was a time of diminished expectations.

    No doubt the MSM will report on this today.

    I know it sounds like sarcasm but it wouldn't surprise me if that's the argument from the left.

    This message needs to be communicated to Black communities day in and day out so it finally gets through to them that they are actually having a much better prospects under Trump than any other presidential candidate. They are given a fair chance to get off the dem/lib plantations.By the way, I"ve never seen liberals hating on anyone like they hate Donny. Anything remotely related to Trump triggers them.Impulsive reaction.Instead of being happy that all Americans are better off and economy is doing well, all they offer is hatred.I urge Black communities to grasp the opportunity offered to them.Be independent.

    President Trump announced he would lift a ban on federal funding for faith-based historically black colleges and universities, saying the Department of Justice has found that restriction unconstitutional.

    "Today, I'm thrilled to announce another major action we're taking to protect HBCUs," Trump said Tuesday at the National Historically Black College and Universities Week in Washington, D.C. "Previously, federal law restricted more than 40 faith-based HBCUs and seminaries from fully accessing federal support for capital improvement projects. This meant that your faith-based institutions, which have made such extraordinary contributions to America, were unfairly punished for their religious beliefs. Did we know that? Did everybody know that? Because it was — it was hap- — that was not good."

    A Republican just won a county in SC that is 35% black, and that Trump lost by 20,000 in 2016.

    I believe the black poverty rate is also at an all-time low.

    Great, that was a ridiculous decision Trump lifted, after WWII vets could go to religious schools and even seminaries with GI Bill benefits.
