What should he do? An EO? Or push Congress to act? I’m not defending him. Just curious what the best way forward is.

I met a guy at a trade show last week that is running against one of our incumbent senators. I didn’t ask him any leading questions. Just told him to give me his platform. He mentioned his dislike for the patriot act. I was encouraged.

Yeh. That’s why I don’t want to give any more rights up. Any.

LOL, if we, USA, was serious about going in and taking complete control of Afghanistan, we'd be able to do it within 6 months.
Sure, there'd be rebels hiding in the mountains, but mostly they will be quite neutered.

I thing the founders were liberal. In fact, very liberal. They were movers and shakers. They didn't want to be the status quo. The very definition of conservative. Never change.

    I don’t have a side.

At this point I am in it pretty much to see how far both sides will drop to, it will be an interesting case study one day.

I completely agree some on the left have become insane on immigration but neither side is interested in meaningful policy
As for the 1st amendment you will have to post some examples.
If it’s regarding free speech, neither side respect the others.
If it’s religious beliefs, I will just have to disagree.

Can't do anything, if the topic isn't brought up to a conversation. Can he.
In reality, he can't do anything. Congress is to spineless. It's why the prez had received more and more power, it seems with each passing new congress.
The spineless congress critters care more about getting re-elected than taking a stance. So they yield their power to the prez. IMO.

Righty logic says all weapons should be legal - automatic weapons, mortars, nuclear bombs...

Where does righty logic prohibit legal nuclear weapons.

Been a proponent of term limits for decades.
Unfortunately, those who would vote for them would be voting themselves out of a job.

But, in a round about way, we have them, the voting booth. But, IMO, the system is set up to favor the incumbents with a huge advantage. So it doesn't work efficiently.

    I have always opposed it.
But then again, the right wing calls me a liberal, so there's that

Perhaps you should figure out what an "arm" was when the 2nd was written.

They didn't get my light bulbs.

I bought a thirty years supply of incandescent light bulbs.

Natural light is the only way to see things.

I also have a toilet that actually flushes crap with just one flush.

Actually, IMO, the 2A says all weapons should be legal. If we as the society were to follow the strict words of the DoI, BoR, and all other founding docs.
But even Righty, imposes limits on 2A, for more don't think we should be able to own claymores, nukes, or any crew served weapon.
They are just as bad as leftie.

The 2 sides just have different lines in the sand.

It wouldn't be legal without an amendment. Nothing else needs to be said...

Yes, the voting booth isn’t working because they have the ability to pass the buck to the Executive to ensure the-election. Don’t some want to bypass congress with a convention of states to get term limits? Probably just spitting into the wind as well....

    I know the answer.

When the Second Amendment was written they didn't say "The right to bear muskets" or "the right to bear a Kentucky or Pennsylvania rifles."

Our founding fathers knew exactly what "the right to bear arms" ment, the weapons of war to stop a tyrannical government.

This was the definition of "arms" when the Constitution was written.

    The source was ...

    The All American Dictionary

    • Webster's 1828 Dictionary contains the foundation of America's heritage and principal beliefs. It is contemporary with the American Constitution.
    • It is an excellent reference for classical literature, Bible studies, history papers, and the ground work of explanation and reasoning for America's national documents.

All light is natural. It is a time and position-varying electromagnetic field. Either it is light or it isn't light.

Incandescent LBs have more red than blue. You are probably using them in brooders because they make better heaters than light sources. And that's the point.

I replaced most all incandescent's. The light from them is terrible. The money they cost me when used it very high.
I like the LED bulbs that have come out.

But, you made my point quite eloquently.

I live in a totalitarian state, the Hermit Kingdom of California of one party rule and ballot harvesting.

I have to check with the state government before I can put a log in the fireplace to keep warm.

Yes, incandescent bulbs means I need one less cord or wood for the winter.
