    So, we're supposed to go to war with Iran because they attacked the oil fields of an ally who is currently engaged in a war with Yemen because of intelligence that may show that the staging ground was in Iran? Well, okay, because we've never been lied to about Middle Eastern provocations before, why shouldn't we believe them?

    The money were Iranian funds we froze. Obamska did not give money to the Iraniacs no matter how many times Trump repeats that lie.

    How was it not our money? We should have confiscated it to pay back for the hostages alone. Lots of US servicemen have died in the ME due to Iran, BTW.

    It had a number of destruction backups.

    A Tomahawk cruise missile.

    F-15's, F-16's and FA-18's.

    B-52's, B-1B and the B-2 bombers work very well from high altitudes.

    But this wasn't the first time highly classified technology fell into the enemy's hands while Obama was POTUS.

    Remember when U.S. Navy SEAL's assassinated Osama bin Laden ?
    I bet the Chi-Coms made a pretty nice campaign donation to the DNC coffers after being allowed to steal the stealth technology of the stealthy Blackhawk helicopter.

    It was legally not our money. No amount of emotions will make it do. I do not like the Mullahfied regime in Iran either but that is not the issue. We were involved with other allies not just us and the Iraniacs. We could not just confiscate those funds . Russia was the cause of American servicemen dying with their support of Vietnam but we have not confiscated Russian money did we. As much as I would love that.

    Actually the Germans used them during WW ll and we started using UAV's during the Vietnam War.

    Who remembers seeing an armed sailor on the fantail of an American destroyer during the late 1950's and throughout the 60's when in port ?

    If the DASH had a nuclear tipped torpedo or mine, there was always an armed guard while the ship was in port.

    Correction. I think there was a self destruct charge, but I can't confirm it.
    If there was destruct charge there should have been no way, absent gross negligence, for the signal to fail to activate the charge.
