    Roberts has no mechanism or authority to unseat Kavanaugh. I won't entertain your fantasies. Try and compose reality based assertions going forward.

    You have no choice about it. Roberts certainly does have mechanisms that he can use, such as investigation, persuasion, and criminal charges.

    That is not a personal attack. You are confused again, it is a simple statement of fact. A Supreme Court Justice is neither a detective nor a District Attorney which would be required to investigate or to bring criminal charges as you mistakenly alleged.

    Not reality based. Roberts cannot unseat Kavanaugh ... period. No one outside of frothing congressional demo-commies will investigate an allegation made in a book, versus submitted to law enforcement. Especially when the reported victim denies the event took place. You have no choice but to accept Kavanaugh will serve out his lifetime appointment.

    Roberts of course has tools. Much of it is symbolism (refusing to give K the CJSCOTUS walk down the steps of the SCOTUS building after being ratified), limited space and clerkage, and a quiet reminder to "remember your place."

    Time will show that the pro-Ks will strike out.

    He doesn't have the ability to investigate or bring charges which was the two claims from you to which I responded. If you have proof to the contrary, then by all means....provide a link outlining those powers. That is more than a reasonable response.

    Knowing that you will fail to do so because they do not exist.....it was easier to simply state that you are confused.

    So you're saying that the woman (Ramirez) who doesn't remember the incident gave a list of 25 witnesses to an event she doesn't recall.

    It wasn't public knowledge that the FBI was ordered to not do their jobs by the white house a year ago.

    If he lied before Congress, that's a felony. Judicial immunity only applies to cases they oversee. And he is charged with a felony and convicted, he is automaticlaly removed from the bench, and under federal law banned from serving as a federal judge, or serving as an attorney in federal court.

    Actually it was. Once the FBI began officially investigating the accusations, it became a criminal investigation. The FBI doesn't investigate non-criminal cases..

    So if a women says he is raped,and says that she believes certain people witnessed it, there is no reason to interview those wittnesses? Good thing you are NOT a lawyer or judge, or law enforcement.

    To Trumpers any news media which covers a story which makes Trump, Kavanuagh or any of Trump's other minions look bad is automaticlly lying, And very rarely do they ever actually cite actual proof that the stories are not true. It's mostly just "Anyone who opposes our god is evil" BS.

    So the person to whom the assault occurred, having no memory of the event, is not enough for you? The fact that there are no other witnesses, nor anyone allegedly involved can recall the act - none of that is relevant?

    You should probably never serve on a jury with that unreasonable level of bias.

    She has stated more than once that the reason for the gaps in her memory was because she had been roofied at the party that the incident took place. More than once person who attended that party has stated that they personally saw Kavanaugh assault her while she was passed out.

    There ARE wittnesses. More than one former classmate of theirs told the FBI that they personally wittnessed Kavanaugh Kavanaugh and his friends assaulting Ramirez. The fact that you don't believe them and think they are all lying doesn't mean anything.

    Trump ordered the FBI to ignore those witinesses, and the FBI did just that,
