    ^So what does THAT mean?

Are you questioning the fair judgement of PF's Hard-Working Moderators.:smh:

I would refer you to PF Rule 8:

    http://politicalforum.com/index.php?help/terms

    You're Welcome. :salute:

As far as the Actual Topic of the OP?

I am sure that GM Workers have valid reasons, and I wish them all the best. :flagus:

    That you disagree is meaningless.

Another keen observation. "have valid reasons" you don't bother outlining? Never mind what you think are "off topic" replies or "rule 8" ... our "hard working PF mods" keep me abreast of the rules. The OP details GM's offer. $7 bn for new facilities, 4500 new jobs, $8000 bonuses. GM union workers make $63 phr. NOW ... highest pay in the industry. Get back when you get facts besides "I'm sure GM workers have" ... when admittedly you aren't aware of what "valid reasons" they might have. :salute:

They must have many "Valid Reasons", IF the RW Fever Swamp Breitbart/Twitter Trolls are so vehemently opposed to them.

I side with the Hard-Working UAW Workers. :flagus:

Lolz ... I'd give you the FOX link to GM's generous contract offer ... you know ... so you could factcheck my figures, and maybe gift us with an informed comment ... but I know you hate FOX ... and factual infomation. :;): Best just converse with Jake Starkey ... GM's probably just lost another half billion dollars for failing to address some "valid reasons" ...

True story. I once lost money betting on a race horse named Rush is Right. The horse broke down on the home stretch and was loaded on an ambulance. More than likely this horse ended up in France, if you get my drift.

Bullsh*t. I do business with the Big Three, most of the suppliers, and, mosg of the transplants, and have been doing so for more than 30 years. Furthermore, one relative is a plant manager, and three are GM engineers. UAW amd their Canadian counterparts didn't desigm crap cars, with crap quality. More over, they aren't to blame for the build quality - they put stuff together the way the moron engineers designed it.

As far as labor-management relations, when I see line supervisors berate people, engage in blatant sexism and racism speech and conduct, it's hard as hell to fault the union. More tham a few times, in 30+ years, I had to grit my teeth to keep from beating the living sh*t out of a member of management.

Speaking for yourself? Most people I know opted to obtain knowledge, skills, and abilities that ensure a decent income.

The union is part of the reason for those opportunities.

The Obama restructuring took equity from investors and transferred it to the union. In doing so he took retirement money from my mother-in-law's retirement savings and also the retirement investments of many old people. This was simply theft by Obama and his union buddies. No other way to describe it.

Only about 10% of the working population are union members and the other 90% of workers don't work 12 hour days for 6 days a week at $4.50 an hour.

    Stop making crap up!

I found this part of your post interesting. I'm going to go out on a limb and say that managers in the auto industry are educated and the guys on the floor are not. Typically what we see is the left touting the highly educated for their beliefs, such as not voting for Trump and brushing off global warming, while the uneducated people being blasted as stupid Trump supporters. Here you seem to be saying the highly educated people most leftists believe are fellow leftists are acting like savages while the uneducated people are their victims.

As far as supervisors berating people and engaging in blatant sexism and racism, this is something I'm going to call BS on. And if it really is happening, then those uneducated grunts who work on the floor seem to withstand it quite well rather than melt like the snowflakes who break down and cry when they see Trump bumper stickers.

I support unions. You make $5,000 less in states that don't support unions and I find that ridiculous.

You're going to call BS? Go do some research. In the last ten years, there have been several lawsuits against the Big Three for exactly the kind of behavior I mentioned.

Same thing happens in a lot of places and unions aren’t needed to file lawsuits. BTW, can you link me to this research, especially the part about the unions defending in court racism and sexism.

You're the one who said, and I quote, "As far as supervisors berating people and engaging in blatant sexism and racism, this is something I'm going to call BS on." As far as the unions, at least they have a workers back whem some dipshit supervisor tries to retaliate.
