most Presidents release their taxes to prevent any perceived financial conflicts of interest, cause once the question arrise, congress has the right to investigate and Trump has given much reason to investigate

for 3 years Trump has not released them, but we have seen many things that point to conflicts of interest with Russia and Saudi Arabia that his taxes might be able to clear up

That's why the Associate Director of the FBI, Mark Felt remained anonymous and went by the name "Deep Throat."

If America were have to learned that "Deep Throat" was Mark Felt who was butthurt that Nixon refused to nominate him as J. Edgar Hoover's replacement, Watergate would have gone nowhere, Nixon would have fulfilled his second term as President, there would be two Vietnams today and there would have been no Vietnamese refugees, boat people and 2.5 million Cambodians wouldn't have perished.
