Support for impeachment jumps in new poll

The number sits, in this poll, at 43-43 with 13 undecided. That is a 7 point jump in a week.

It is interesting on two fronts to consider both why support jumped and why there are so many undecided. To the former, I think the difference comes largely from Democrats that were following the leads of Democratic leaders - when they came out in support, those Democrats joined. As to the undecided, that is the curious one to me. Trump is such a divisive figure and support and disapproval for him is extremely ingrained at this point.

My bet is that those 13 will eventually split along lines that we see in the larger realm, so roughly a 60-40 in favor of impeachment.

 

Poll again in a week or two, could be totally different as things develope.

Every left leaning MSM news organization speaks about the memo and whistleblower as if it's a done deal, a forgone conclusion, "here's what happened for sure". The language of these articles presents opinion and perception as reality.

Here's the thing; good luck with making that tangible Democrats, because it's not clear AT ALL that there's anything legitimately worthy of impeachment in this case. You better hope you don't fail to find something.

 

I think the fact that Republicans are left with a defense of either saying, "he did nothing wrong" or "let's investigate biden" is a strong sign for Democrats. Almost no repulicans, that I have seen, are actively trying to sell the American people on the notion that Trump did a good or proper thing.

 

This goes to show you how little people are paying attention to this story and how easily they’re swayed by fake news. I’m also sure the people who were polled exhibited a good degree of intolerance and hate.

Here’s the thing no one is mentioning: they’re saying Trump was trying to get dirt on a political opponent, but Biden was not his political opponent. Biden is the political opponent of the other clowns in the carnival act. Trump doesn’t gain anything from this, he would have loved to run against Obama 2.0. The people who benefit are the far left socialist candidates who can pretty much be assured that this story just killed their political opponent: Biden.

 

And there is another new poll that has 32% of Republicans supporting Impeachment.

The MOMENTUM for Impeachment is there.

The Dems just need to focus on ONE Article (of Abuse of Power) based on the Ukraine Call and move expeditiously.

 

Of course, everyone knows that contrary to what all polls show, Trump would easily beat Biden in 2020.

I believe some Republicans disapprove of this interaction between Trump and Zelensky, obviously, but for the most part Republicans are like "Really, this is the thing that you guys are going with? Okay... let's go with this."

I don't think the Biden element can be discounted, or the the Obama admin. list to Ukranian justice. There's lots of moving parts in motion now, intentionally or not.

and let the americans watch on live TV 24/7: Biden bragging about his blackmail of Ukraine to save his corrupt son next to Trump's innocuous conversation, the Dem senators blackmailing Ukraine next to Trump's innocuous conversation and Zelensky's denial of any pressure, have the Republicans drag Mueller's ass to the senate floor and make him explain what he spent $50 millions on and why 15 leftist partisan scumbags, not him ran the witch hunt...

Yes....the inquiry should go forward ......and is. The focus is narrowed down to the phone call, whistelbower info ......and will go from there. It seems quite evident that attempts were made to "hide" some phone transcripts into coder word security status........ and this action was questioned as being a cover up.......as the contents did not qualify for such security levels.
It has been apparent that Trump has been abusing his POTUS powers , being obstructive and overproduction. He has bent the rules to fit his own way of thinking and behaving.

This is going to get very ugly............given the type of person Trump is. It is a sad state of affairs......

It is very sad to hear Trump make accusations that are not founded on reality...........and threaten those that informed the Whistleblower

The more that is revealed now........ the better idea we will have about just how dysfunctional the Trump regime is...........and how little the law means to him. He has no boundaries......and can't deal with limit setting rules , regulations and protocol.

Anyone who didn’t watch Hannity tonight missed out on why this is all happening: it’s to protect Biden and hide his corruption. They presented documented facts. Of course the left will criticize Hannity without knowing what he said, but they’ll believe all the stories the fake news media pimps spew which gets proven to be wrong or outright lies.

As for the poll itself maybe it's right idk but at the end of the day if Republican Senators don't jump on board it's a hollow victory and one that may boomerang back in Democrats face if it 1. Takes out Biden in the crossfire and 2. Energizes Trump's base and turnout for Republicans in 2020

 

The "facts" that have become available...... are the road-map for the impeachment inquiry. An inquiry is essential now. Trump has been getting away with inappropriate behavior , pushing boundaries, testing the laws.......long enough . He created this mess for himself.....as he really believes the laws don't apply to him........ He does not seem to have any ethical standards.........which is sad.
