City bans calling someone an ‘illegal alien’ out of hate

You've got to be kidding. In NYC you can't call someone an illegal alien, but I'll bet my bottom dollar you can still call people racists, bigots, Nazis, phobes of all varieties and haters.

And get this, if you're offended by illegals it's against the law to call them illegals because it might offend them. YOU can be offended, but it's illegal to offend them.

 

Would "criminal alien" be better?

 

Illegal aliens are criminals. Period, Ok. That article in the OP talks about a directive ! Directives are not law as far as I know. Maybe in NYC they are.

The directive says it is a violation of a directive is motivated by hate. How the F.... .. do you proove motivation?

Can you call someone ugly? Or short? Or fat?

 

Illegals are criminals so that would be redundant but ok with me. Call them criminal aliens.

 

Don't call them anyting don't threaten anything just call Ice quickly and quietly.

 

The amount of the fine is unconstitutional and will be thrown out. It is also a violation of the freedom of speech.

This law is contrary to the first amendment and is therefore null and of no effect.

The refers to using the "illegal alien" epithet, slur, lie, etc. to an IMMIGRANT!

This is the usual slander and effort to denigrate individuals or groups as illegals!

If a person were new someone is an ILLEGAL alien, then this law would not apply!

But as here and out in America, the bigots, racists, Nazis, haters of all kind who constantly accuse immigrants who are brown or have an accent or speak other languages or eat other different foods as "illegal aliens", it's quite appropriate for these hateful people get illegal for their slanders in public.

Citizens, the TAXPAYERS ( you remember us right, the ones that fund this country) are really losing our rights fast, have nothing given to us, let the government dictate how much tax we pay, and have had our healthcare system completely trashed, (I know cause I was paying $125 a month before Obamacare, now it’s $450 a month). Now the illegals (the ones that live off of welfare, yes welfare, and are here illegally, DO NOT contribute, (pay taxes), get free housing, are allowed to vote, and are protected by the sanctuary cities. It sounds like they are clearly illegal aliens.

So this song is about a "hate crime", because it is factually true in this case.

But the issue in NY is about calling immigrants as "illegal aliens", which is more often than not a lie and is being used as a vicious slur and accusation of a crime.

 

Wow! In a city of 20+ million people, a large army of ICE agents arrests 82 people!!!

That's called FAILURE!

If any of the Republican's and Trumpies REALLY wanted to end illegal aliens, ICE could comb the city and arrest 82 corporate business leaders, including Trump himself, and confiscate ALL the assets of the owners, stockholders and corporate holdings down to the change in their limousines and the their kids' cel phones!

Actually ICE arrested a total of 1300 illegal aliens this week. Many of them were sex offenders.

 

Well Barry Obama called them voters. Dems always come up with different terms to suit there needs. Democrats did not like it back when people called their black servants "slaves" so they came up with a different name. I think it began with the letter "N".

 

And next you won't be able to call anyone a drug dealer, they must instead be called unlicensed pharmacists
