Little wonder Democrats are trying to obstruct an investigation into the Bidens' dealings in Ukraine with their latest "scandal" and "investigation". It appears that neither one of them have been honest and forthright with the American people at all.

If Hunter Biden's guilt is so obvious, why did Trump secretly operate to get Ukraine to investigate him?

If Hunter (and Joe) Biden's innocence is so obvious, why are Democrats so noisily attempting to obstruct an investigation into their alleged innocence?

Probably because in a democracy, it's not up to the President to decide who should be investigated.

Unless of course you love Trump to the point where you don't care if US looks like Russia, China or NK.

This ANCIENT "Biden Stuff" seems like a Very LOW "Investigative Priority", Given the CURRENT Situation involving A Sitting President. :salute:

Actually, it's not up to the President of the United States of America to decide who should be investigated in UKRAINE, nor is it up to the crybully Democrats in this country who appear to have something damaging, if not illegal, to hide.

We have an old saying in this country and I presume that you and your fellow Canucks have heard it before: Where there's smoke there's fire.

It's not up to me to decide what the Ministry of Justice in Ukraine should investigate, either, but I welcome an investigation into this matter if the Ukrainian authorities - not the Leftists and Democrats in my country - see fit. Given the choices involved in such matters, it will either give the Bidens a chance to clear their names or be held accountable in Ukraine and/or the U.S. for any wrongdoing that may have occurred.

Who is "noisily attempting to obstruct" a look into Hunter Biden? I've heard pundits claim that it was already investigated and there was no illegal or corrupt activity by Hunter, but I've heard no one try to block anything or even say no, don't even look into that. Please provide an example of this blocking.

Yes, 2016 is real "ancient", AJ.

Perhaps, we should get the Rurikovichi in Kiev Rus to look into this matter.

    "Where there's smoke there's fire." -- :roflol:

If the right truly believes that, why doesn't it apply to Trump? How many giant billowing clouds of smoke do they need to see before they admit there's a fire?

Democrats, obviously, and perhaps the frontrunner in their 2020 presidential primaries. Read the article (Hint: "The memos raise troubling questions...").

Again, read the article. I know its long and I'm sure the memos are, too (I haven't had time to go through them yet), but it's not difficult to see the questions being raised there.

And for full disclosure's sake, I originally found the article cited in the OP at RealClearPolitics.

You missed the circus in Washington last week?

There were clowns and freaks and parodies of transcripts - it was the greatest show on earth!

Evidently, you've forgotten that Democrats and their errand boys in the federal bureaucracy and media completely destroyed their credibility during the Russia Collusion Hoax.

    "Wolf! Wolf! Wolf!"

As for myself, I'm still sorting through all this and unlike the Lefties and their Tinfoil Tribunals who have declared Trump, Kavanaugh and any other Righty they don't like guilty until proven innocent I'm giving the Bidens the benefit of the doubt until proven otherwise. We'll see if and where this goes...

In "relative" terms of the Chicanery of the PRESENT Administration (in which there is a New Scandal Every Day), I think that most people who follow these things would consider 2016 (during a previous Administration) to be "ancient".

Of course, depending on one's agenda, opinions may differ. :salute:

Theres only a new scandal everyday because the democrats and disgusting liberal press make them up. This president has been the most scrutinized of any and if it were obama getting the scrutiny intstead of his toes sucked he would have been jailed

The Wall Street Journal is the liberal press? They were instrumental in breaking this news. And now we have this Fox reporting that Rudy and two others were working "off the books" and the President was the one ordered military aid withheld.

And there's where your batshit crazy narrative falls apart.

Can you suggest a half way plausible splanation how would a son of VP of USA get $50k a month job, in a foreign country, in an industry he knows nothing of? What does it stink of?

You won’t utter a sound my friend but will continue rage about Trump this and Trump that. Right?

    Of course right.

Do you have a narrative about lucrative Biden Jr job?

Of course not, why would you discuss something you know smells from here to Kiev? :D

Yes, he's enriching himself because of his connection to his dad. I've never liked Biden and for exactly this sort of sleaziness. It's terrible, right Ivanka and Don Jr and Jared?

I've never understood why you guys tolerated Trump making his children top advisers.

This does smell terrible and both men will be hurt from it. Biden is not going to be the nominee and Trump is getting impeached.

    Stop spreading Stephen Miller's propaganda.

Where were your scruples when a significant number of Trump employees, including his campaign manager, turned out to be criminals?

Is that your excuse for Ukrainian big business buying access to the corrupt US Government official?

    Why am I not surprised?

Robert Hunter Biden is an American lawyer and lobbyist who is the second son of former U.S. Vice President Joe Biden. He is a partner at Rosemont Seneca Partners, an international consulting firm.

Does this Robert have any oil and gas experience?

And let's cut the bullshit, Margot. No outside director from a third rate shady consulting firm commands anywhere near this much money to sit on the board any company, large or small, foreign or domestic. It's just no way.

By the way, this Rosemont Seneca Partners website is off the air. Aren't you wondering why? I can tell you :couple_inlove:

Are you compare Rumsfeld and Cheney to a low-grade lawyer who's got his previous assignments because of his father? :buggered:
