    The precipitous decision by the POTUS is a betrayal of an ally who fought with us and fought for us. That is close to what Senator Lyndsey was quoted as saying.

    Those of us who have been saying that Trump is destroying our country warned the Trumpsters that this will happen. Trumpsters make excuses and give this guy a pass no matter what dumb, wrong, traitorous, stupid or unconstitutional moves he makes. Remember when he crapped fecal matter on the NATO countries? I do. Remember when this guy got down on his knees and figuratively kissed Putin's butt? I do. Remember when this guy crapped fecal matter on our Intel community? I do.

    Finally at least Sen Graham had at least given lip service regarding POTUS's betrayal of Kurdish allies. How long before Sen Graham's pro American lip service stops and the Senator's lips go back to the figurative backside of Putin's best friend?

    So how long do we need to stay Partisan and I'm being serious, how long do you want American soldiers being shot at and possibly blown up in Syria? This is the question nobody wants to answer including Congress, let's go on record and decide. Appropriations bill aft appropriations bill to keep funding this crap never an end in sight. Big bucks in war...

    I confess my total ignorance about which-kind-of-Kurd-is-which. I do remember that Saddam Hussein mostly left them alone, largely because they were in the hilly, essentially valueless country that was way to the north of the Iraqi oil fields.

    It seems certain that Russia is the power behind the scenes in all of Syria. They've had a Russian Navy base at Tartus since back in the days of the Soviet Union, and now they've build it up even larger, and, added a number of Russian Air Force bases, too.

    Back when Obama tried to run his "red line" bluff in Syria, Putin told him, in essence, to shut up and go away... and Obama did that very quickly and obediently....

    I would like to see us get completely the hell OUT of Syria, Iraq, and Afghanistan -- but if Erdogan starts exterminating anybody but ISIS creeps, I think we should see if we can 'negotiate' with Putin to yank Erdogan's chain backwards. Erdogan will not (NOT) seriously screw around with Russia if he wants to live to see old age....

    Thats one reason Trump is ok with this-Ergodan has to either prove its a good NATO member or a good Russia ally.

    Ergodan is an Islamist-he's as likely to honor the ISIS prisoners as he is to kill them.

    But as far as the YPK-the Turks have been frothing to take them out since the end of the ottoman empire.

    None of us who ever served in combat wants our younger generation to die is wars. Yet those of us who served, unlike POTUS Trump who never served even one micro second, know that we must never abandon our allies as we did in "my" war Vietnam. In order to maintain the integrity of our country the USA we never should just cut and run on our allies. Why?
    That will give us a horrific reputation as a country that lies when it says that it commits to support our friends.
    The Kurds died fighting ISIS for us. Remember after 9-11 how our NATO allies and other countries from around the world came to our help.

    If we have another situation such as this betrayal of the Kurds does any Trumpeizdas think that anyone will come to help us? I do not think so.

    I don't order my son what to do. If he was committed to stand by our Kurdish democratic allies, I would take a patriotic pride in his resolve.
    In Afghanistan, where Trump is still farting around despite all his fake rhetoric, not so much.
