    "Two associates of Rudy Giuliani connected to efforts to dig up dirt in Ukraine on Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden were arrested Wednesday on criminal charges for violating campaign finance rules, according to a spokesman for the Southern District of New York."

    I notice that a lot of people in Trump's orbit seem to be either in jail, headed to jail, or on trial. I guess this is what swamp draining looks like?

    Kudos to the SDNY for being able to investigate Campaign Finance violations while the Federal Group specifically charged with investigating these allegations, the FEC, has been made toothless by Republicans.

    The FEC doesn't prosecute crimes, the DOJ does....nice to see the Trump DOJ prosecuting crimes they expose....he apparently isn't giving cover to even people that might be associated with people he knows.

    This thread is about 'Crooked Hillary'. We just were not paying attention and let ourselves stray. We will all be corrected soon enough.

    To the OP, this is going to have significant consequences to Republicans who claim there is no legal basis behind the impeachment inquiry. What the President and Rudy did was uncomfortably close to facilitating this very kind of behavior.

    “Lev Parnas and Igor Fruman, two Florida businessmen, have been under investigation by the U.S. Attorney’s office in Manhattan, and are expected to appear in federal court in Virginia later on Thursday… The men’s nationalities were unclear, though both were believed to have been born in former Soviet republics.”


    USA Today reports both men were scheduled to be deposed this week by the three House committees leading the impeachment probe.

    (I don't know if Rudy can be held accountable.. He's so obviously mentally ill or senile.)

    Wow! Campaign finance stuff, like I said, wow.

    For three years the left sported wood over vote changing, election hacking, election interference, Russian collusion, pee tapes, snatch grabbing, Facebook ads, Russian mafia, German banks, taxes, Putin's puppetry, Ukrainian strong arming and impeachment. But what do we have here? Boring campaign finance stuff allegedly committed by two people who mean nothing to anyone.

    Hey libs, if you're going to associate Trump with these two people, then the rules will stay the same when we associate criminals with democrats, right?

    Trump’s partners in South Florida projects, the Dezer Brothers, are also under investigation for money laundering. Anyone who thinks a guy like this asking for “favors” isn’t expecting a transaction is crazy.
