The taxpayers are on the hook for lot's of things we don't agree with. How about the billions spent on abortion, illegals and welfare to name a few. Hillary Clinton spent over a billion on her election campaign, where do you suppose that came from? It may not have been on the books but ultimately much of it was supported by tax dollars. As SOS she did more politicking on her own behalf than for America, who paid for that???? How much does Congress spend to woo potential donors for their parties and campaigns? Why does Nancy Pelosi get free transportation via military flights three times a week to California? We're not talking military hops on board cargo planes, these flights are on Gulfstreams or Lear jets owned by the US Military. Why isn't she flying commercial??? I really would love to see an nighttime outdoor one down south in Louisiana, they could have 1,000s of citronella torches and thousands of red hats.

But last night's rally was an accurate measure of his support. 25% of the nation's adults adore him.
And those 25% will vote. And he is showing that his team knows something about winning an election. He will spend 75% of his time in the 8 purple states. He will likely lose the popular vote again but is going for the electoral college.

 

The EC is going to a lot more difficult without PA.

 

Trump rallies are a poor way to judge political strength. Trump loves his rally numbers because he is a child of the networks and ratings. In the large world, Trump rallies hardly register on the networks or cable anymore. The people that attend Trump rallies are loyalists and part of a shrinking base.

The ALDS game was fantastic and I'm not even a baseball fan. Never thought of the rally.

 

Yeah, but all I am saying is that he will spend a lot of time there. Unlike Hillary who had rallies in Blue states with the exception of Florida. She spent more time in NY and CA
than she did in PA, Ohio, Wisconsin, MO, GA etc. Then she picks milktoast for a VP. If she would have picked Sanders, the young would have voted for her and she would have won.

 

Hillary is NOT going to be the Dem 2020 candidate and I seriously doubt that whomever is the candidate will repeat her mistakes.

OTOH the BLOTUS can do nothing but repeat his own past mistakes.

 

I will stick with my prediction that Trump won't even be around in 2020. If he is, it's important too remember that 51% of Americans hate Trump's guts and want him impeached and out of office. The undecided 24% are rapidly swinging, if not Democrat, anti Trump.

You are correct. That arena and the entire floor was full with thousands waiting for a chance for a seat. The local news showed thousands in line standing in the skyways. Thank the man-child mayor of Minneapolis for the great attendance to this event.

I suggest you think little deeper about the reason for Trump's 90% acceptance among Republicans. The main and most important reason for the GOPis that their base is shrinking and shifting to Independents and Democrats. What is left are the 90% that captures only 38-42% of American voters. No a lot of comfort there for the party of Trump.
