Don't know much about Minnesota, do you. If you want to go to historical references, the ancestors of a great deal of Minnesotans came from Scandinavia. There is a great deal more violent cruelty in their ancient DNA than Germans.

I used to wonder how someone like Hitler, or even your average king, could ever attract a following. Trump is such an interesting character in that regard. Somehow I can't help but feel happiness that I'm not the type that is so afflicted to look favorable on such a poor character.

The thing that baffles me is the violence such behavior tends to inspire.

The really cool thing about Trump is he is not insecure, he knows he is wealthy and powerful beyond compare, this allows him to surround himself with people much brighter than himself on subjects outside of his family of skills, which in turn allows him to build a very powerful team to go after any enemy he might come across.

Conversely many hard core Democrat D.C. politicians are lightly educated people who are very insecure and surround themselves with equally lightly educated people or in many cases are actors who make no decisions and leave everything up to staffers to handle, think Biden or Warren.
