In light of that who knows why they would prefer to develop their own rather than buy an established aircraft already in production that the R & D has already been performed on and that half a dozen NATO countries have already chosen.

Just because most people (including you apparently) have no idea what "stealth" actually refers to doesn't mean the F-35 is not a useful combat aircraft.

And if Australia thinks so badly about the F-35 why are they buying them? Same with United Kingdom and various other nations? You seriously think they are doing so because they are that obligated to Lockheed Martin.

Finally, the F-35 was never meant to be a world beating do everything combat aircraft. It was designed to be a relatively cheap and affordable combat aircraft option to replace a number of aircraft used by the U.S. and its allies.

Poland is where Germany and Russia fight their wars against each other.

Think about it, in 1941 Germany had to attack Poland to be able to get into position to attack Russia.

Russia did the same thing, attacked Poland from the east so it's army would already be in Poland to fight Germany's army.

Poland has always been where Europe fights its wars.
