A great chance to show solidarity with their fellow Americans but instead decided to get politically ugly. Thy apparently don't even know who was behind this operation. No country can long survive with a citizenry this foolish and shortsighted. Shame has never been a factor among the leftists and certainly not in Washington.

That's what elections are for and the divisiveness, as we can see by this very topic and the three year attempt at impeachment for something or other are the fault of the very tiresome Democrats and their dull witted followers. They just never stop, even at a baseball game,.

 

Trump fails to inspire solidarity because he repeatedly and explicitly refuses to encourage solidarity. When asked what he could do to bring together the nation, he responded by praising his base.

 

I don’t have a side — if trumps personal law firm fka the Department of Justice finds corruption, I hope they root it out and prosecute those individuals to the fullest extent of the law.

Will you support “your side” if bribery, profiteering from trumps position, or abuses of power is found?

He turned the very idea of "being presidential" into a joke. All these politicians were so worried about acting ""nice" and "right" that they didn't fight for the public. And Trump was coming to change all of that.

The point here is that Trump has fundamenally transformed how we view the presidency. Trump came in acting like a foul-mouthed bully and got away with much that was considered an absolute affront in politics. The name-calling, the petty personal insults, the foul-mouthed tirades against any and all opponents, the chants to lock up an American politician and presidential candidate... Trump brought us all of this. He is being booed by Americans who have watched him behave worse as a presidential candidate and then a president for four very long years and beyond now. How can you blame a crowd at a baseball game for treating Trump the way he treats others? How can you blame them for disrespecting the president who himself eshews all respect and has shown absolutely none for other politicians, including past presidents and his 2016 opponent? Oh, and has now blatantly abused his presidential powers in a bid to involve a foreign power in harming another political opponent much more recently!

 

Wanting to impeach the President before he even took office doesn't inspire solidarity, nor does working behind the scenes on 'Insurance Policies' and fake investigations of "Russian Collusion" Yet Leftists will still call the President "Divisive". Remarkable!

 

Yep. And that's one of the really important point from last night. It is the impact that Trump has had on the general level of discourse in public. It is not surprising that to learn that so many people hate Trump - we already knew that. But Trump has encouraged and actively championed the idea of holding politicians to the same level as an internet troll. Seeing it tossed back into his face is funny tho.

Yea...Trump bragged about grabbing women by the ***** before he was elected, he attacked Gold Star families before he was elected, he refused to attack David Duke before he was elected, he attacked war heroes before he was elected, he publicly asked for Russia to provide assistance against his political opponent before he was elected, and he bragged about the size of his penis before he was elected.

Divisive is the least offensive label you can place on trump.

Yeah, because he and his supporters would never magnanimous. Attack any and every critic displays the immaturity of Trump and his supporters.

 

Abuse of power is refusing to honor Congressional subpoenas and oversight. The Supreme Court already ruled on this in the Nixon case.

 

There was an opportunity at that game for all Americans to cheer the Presidency and its symbolism because it was a time for all Americans to cheer for their country, just like they did after ridding the world of Osama ben Laden. There were no Republicans booing Obama after OBL bought it but the leftists are just too small to celebrate what should have been, in a perfect setting, a victory for all Americans.
