Maybe so. Murder, rape, and robbery are also impeachable offenses. It's just that Trump didn't do any of those things.

Quick Question....can you explicitly define ANY Office in the Constitution as an "Office of honor, Trust or Profit under the United States?

His lack of basic knowledge of laws and procedures is even worst... And he still pretend to be a lawyer.

They try so hard at destroying things. Thankfully education isn't something they're interested in.

Yes, yes, I know Democrats know a lot about genders, blackface, and Beyonce. There is that.

Then they hope the Never Trumpers can give them a hand.

But then the Never Trumpers are having the same problem. MMC on the job! [IMG]

Did not your star withness, unassailable Bill Taylor learned of what's going on from New York Times?

Ok, so here's the argument and you tell me where you think it goes wrong.

Trump abused his power when he sought campaign assistance from a foreign government in the form of an investigation against his domestic political opponents while he simultaneously and unilaterally held up hundreds of millions in military aid, a requested meeting, and a restoration of trade rights. He then obstructed justice when he tried to hide, lie about, and actively prevent all current and former employees from cooperating by ordering them not to cooperate.

....did you think that was a clever or even a sensible spin?

You are attempting to compare a model of how an election would turn out (i.e. a prediction about a future event) to a poll of how people feel currently.

    Yes.

    What's the model based on?

    Oh yeah.

    Current polling.

    Next easily defeated argument please.

No, that portion of the transcript is specifically in reference to how he gained an understanding of Trump's reasoning behind demanding the statement of investigation from the Ukrainian President.

Great, now find me the model that is predicting the outcome of the impeachment inquiry, based on the polling, and you will have a valid comparison.

You repeat yourself, so I will repeat myself.

The Republican defense at this point, in regards to Sondland altering his sworn testimony to note that - indeed - he delivered a quid pro quo to the Ukrainians, is that Sondland does not know for certain that Trump REALLY wanted that statement made before aid would be released?

It went wrong with your entire characterization of what actually happened. It's, for lack of a better term, fake news.

However, Joe Biden got Ukraine to fire a prosecuter who was looking into corruption of his son Hunter, who took 3 million from Burisma. Was this a crime, in your opinion? Did Joe Biden cross a line that warrants further investigation?

This is just a sad response.

Election predictions are based on the most recent polling available, as is your little impeachment chart.

Yet, something prevents you from seeing the obvious reality of such a simple observation.

When you're losing this badly it's better to stop talking.
