That not necessarily a bad (or even immoral) thing. If I'm a company, and my rival is committing industrial espionage against me, and I have a politically influential person on the payroll, shouldn't I use that person's influence and connections to stop my rival from spying on me? Isn't that what my shareholders would expect me to do?

Maybe because Dad can get the Ukrainian prosecutor off his tail by getting him fired?

Maybe we need evidence to believe any of that.

Maybe for his experience as a lawyer and a lobbyist in general. Maybe for his last name. Maybe you don't completely understand the needs of that business.

That's why Trump asked the Ukrainian President to look into it and coordinate with the Ukrainian Prosecutor and the US AG.

So every time somebody earns money we are going to think of the most nefarious reason possible and start an investigation? How about we don't do this on the taxpayer's dime and have the members of congress pay for this nonsense with their own money?

Well, I'm waiting for the evidence for these claims you are making.

I really don't know how he sold himself to that company. Maybe he used his past experience. Maybe that company liked his last name and liked the idea of having connections. I really don't know why he was hired. You'd have to ask whoever interviewed him I guess.

    His "earning money" is suspect.

An investigation will no doubt clear his name.

Its a federal issue so its on the tax payers dime-dems seem to love taxes so you shouldn't mind.

How do you know this evidence exists and I'm getting it soon if it hasn't come out yet?

We have even better ways to ascertain facts-like even beyond asking a crackhead.

    Crazy, I know.

Earning money isn't by definition suspect. I really feel like we need a special budget for investigations or something. 1 million for Republicans per year, 1 million for the democrats. They can investigate freely within the bounds of the law. And if they run out of money, they have to wait till next year to continue or pay for it themselves. Didn't that Benghazi thing cost 7 million dollars?

Or the government can actually get things done instead of investigating people for earning money.

Removing entitled crackheads who benefited from corruption should be a good thing.

    Strange you never knew.

Maybe it wasn't portrayed in an anime cartoon?

Well, you have no evidence any corruption happened. All we know is that somebody earned money working for a company.

Earning money working for a company is not in and of itself wrong or illegal.

I've done it probably longer than you have been alive.

I never made 80K+ a month for it.

    Why do you hate transparency?

Companies are not required to make that information public. Maybe Hunter Biden earns more than you because he is more qualified than you.

It's amazing that people just shrug that off and talk about some "emoluments" clause...absolutely incredible!
