    The political elites can do and say whatever the hell they want . Nothing we the people can ever do about it but keep paying our taxes because they always need more more more . They can't think of ways fas enough to take more and more money from taxpayers. They are the most untrustworthy people on this planet . There are never any consequences. Until a one of these political crooks faces justice nothing will ever change .

    Yes it is bad. In the UK, it can lead to, "Cash for questions". So why can't your presidents carry on with their businesses etc.. whilst in office? Possible conflict of interest? Biden et al. are using their political position to line their pockets and you're happy with that? The tax payer pays their wage to do a job but they do it badly and use their status to make millions.

    I think our morals differ significantly on the subject.

    I was talking about a company using a politically connected person to get their agenda advanced (in my example, the agenda was stopping a rival company from spying). That doesn't require cash, and I don't see where the immorality is in someone like Biden Jr. telling his dad, "Hey, there's criminal activity going on against the company I'm working for. Can you see if that's on DOJ's radar, and if it's not, can we get an organization like the WTO to look into this?"

    Where is the immorality in that hypothetical?
