You can watch the two minute video here: https://www.dropbox.com/s/9h9o5ca2frha24j/Hearing Testimony FINAL 12.02.19 .mp4?dl=0

My boy, @Egoboy has a thread and a link to the text of the 300 page report, which you can find here. I strongly encourage everyone to read the report personally, but Democrats have correctly surmised that a two minute long video clip will be easier to digest for America.

Now it is time for Democrats to shrink the video even further to a 30 second ad-clip and put it on blast.

What takes 2 minutes for Dems would take far shorter for Repubs. All Repubs have to do is make a clip of every single one of the "witnesses" saying "my opinion" or "my presumption". And that 2 minute video by the Dems would be the thing that is blasted.

And I don't need a 300 page report written by politicians trying to make a political propaganda point to tell me what to think. I watched the "witnesses" own testimony. I'll make my own judgments thanks.

If you want more personal testimony from those most likely to have heard orders directly from trump, then join Democrats by demanding that trump stop stonewalling.

Well, typical so far of the dem clown show. Cherry picking testimony to support a false narrative. Not one of the witnesses witnessed anything. Of course playing the Sondland sound bite that got shot down later is a good example.

Not all that amazing actually. Most of them came to their own conclusions after hearing others say something. Hell, one of them admitted that they didn't even know about anything until after the NYTimes reported on it. (sorry, can't remember which atm). Between hate of Trump and being lemmings it really isn't all that amazing.

Tell you what, I'll do that when Democrats allow Republicans to call their own witnesses and ask the questions that they want to ask. All of it done in the open. They should also enter into the record what President Zelensky has stated four times already. I don't blame Trump for refusing to co-operate with a one sided unfair impeachment inquiry.

Will you stipulate that the witnesses and the questions must have a personal knowledge on Trump's behavior surrounding Ukraine?

Nope. Because if it can be proved that Trump had a valid reason to ask for those investigations then that is a valid defense that Trump did not abuse his power. That is why Dems only want to focus on personal knowledge of Trumps behavior. Because they know that if Trump had a valid reason to ask for those investigations impeachment support would drop dramatically.

Couldn't Trump, or any of the individuals with personal knowledge, testify to Trump's "valid" reason?

Or are you in search of a valid reason that Trump could have cited at the time if he knew about such?

Sure they could. But what good would that do? Dems will just claim conspiracy theory, turn on those witnesses or claim that they didn't really say what they said and then probably try to use the 25th amendment. Best to leave them no wiggle room.

And btw, Trump already did know about it. The NYTimes ran the initial story about Biden and his son back in May, and the video with Biden bragging, and the story about the DNC using Ukraine for political gain all happened long before Trumps phone call. Something that the Dems keep conveniently forgetting.

You think that article and that video clip is Trump's legitimate reason for demanding a public announcement of an investigation? Then why would you need testimony from people like Hunter Biden or Joe Biden?

Thanks for the shoutout... I'm tired of reading... finally watched the video...

Not bad... It would have been cool to get Morgan Freeman to read the title cards interspersed with the witnesses, but they're working on a budget...

I'm still not sure why they keep including Yovanovitch in the picture... she was treated terribly by a bunch of mouth-breaking d-bags, but that's nowhere near the eventual articles...

Trying to get the female support for impeachment perhaps?? Like 70% of US women don't already hate his guts...

You gonna watch the constitutional hearing tomorrow? I'm watching just for the R attack dogs to be unmuzzled for a few hours...

It's not like I don't know impeachment is in the Constitution and this episode warrants it's usage...

Along with the Obama administration so concerned about Hunter Biden that Fiona Hill was grilled about it during her confirmation hearing.

I will watch. Got a jonesing for more public impeachment hearings and need my fix!

And I am not so sure about whether Yovanovich making it into the eventual articles. I could craft an abuse of power based impeachment article around the firing and disparaging of an ambassador who was released specifically because she hindered corrupt acts. Especially if you link her firing to the lobbying done by those two Giuliani associates after they funneled illegal money into a Trump Super PAC.

In terms of the video though, I feel like her inclusion is designed to invoke an emotional response, especially given the segment of her testimony they used.

Ah, the ole conspiracy theory invented out of thin air. Ambassadors serve at the pleasure of the President, not the other way around.
