The Harvard Law professor and Democrat witness Noah Feldman wrote an op-ed back in 2008 and here are some of the most disturbing elements from that op-ed...

"Islamic law offered the most liberal and humane legal principles available anywhere in the world"

"It sometimes seems as if we need Shariah as Westerners have long needed Islam"

"Shariah has undergone an extraordinary revival in recent years"

Feldman, the Jew, arguing for Sharia law? What a putz.

That your party called a kook to testify yesterday. Sharia Law is gender apartheid, among many other evils involved.

Yeah, it's really nice, and compatible with liberal Western values:
    • Theft is punishable by amputation of the hands (Quran 5:38).
    • Criticizing or denying any part of the Quran is punishable by death.
    • Criticizing Muhammad or denying that he is a prophet is punishable by death.
    • Criticizing or denying Allah is punishable by death (see Allah moon god).
    • A Muslim who becomes a non-Muslim is punishable by death (See Compulsion).
    • A non-Muslim who leads a Muslim away from Islam is punishable by death.
    • A non-Muslim man who marries a Muslim woman is punishable by death.
    • A woman or girl who has been raped cannot testify in court against her rapist(s).
    • Testimonies of 4 male witnesses are required to prove rape of a female (Quran 24:13).
    • A woman or girl who alleges rape without producing 4 male witnesses is guilty of adultery.
    • A woman or girl found guilty of adultery is punishable by death (see "Islamophobia").
    • A male convicted of rape can have his conviction dismissed by marrying his victim.
    • Muslim men have sexual rights to any woman/girl not wearing the Hijab (see Taharrush).
    • A woman can have 1 husband, who can have up to 4 wives; Muhammad can have more.
    • A man can marry an infant girl and consummate the marriage when she is 9 years old.
    • Girls' clitoris should be cut (Muhammad's words, Book 41, Kitab Al-Adab, Hadith 5251).
    • A man can beat his wife for insubordination (see Quran 4:34 and Religion of Peace).
    • A man can unilaterally divorce his wife; a wife needs her husband's consent to divorce.
    • A divorced wife loses custody of all children over 6 years of age or when they exceed it.
    • A woman's testimony in court, allowed in property cases, carries ½ the weight of a man's.
    • A female heir inherits half of what a male heir inherits (see Mathematics in Quran).
    • A woman cannot speak alone to a man who is not her husband or relative.
    • Meat to eat must come from animals that have been sacrificed to Allah - i.e., be "Halal."
    • Muslims should engage in Taqiyya and lie to non-Muslims to advance Islam.

Noah will probably be seen as a fine SCOTUS nominee the next time a Dem wins the WH.

Sounds like the Ten Commandments, which American conservatives unanymously adore as part of their shared religious ideology and advocate to have erected in public spaces all the time.

And yet, no one is killed or mutilated because of those ten commandments plaque... Can you say the same of Sharia law?

Which of the Ten Commandments, or did you just make that up? There are numerous depictions of the Ten Commandments on the SCOTUS building itself.

Proof? We are a nation in which 'proof' is in the 'eye of the beholder', as the 'Gang of Four experts' yesterday at the Nadler Carnival amply reminded us.... Four hand-picked legal 'experts' -- three of whom were well-known liberal Democrats who were staunchly advocating impeachment, and one other of some description who suggested that the House wait before impeaching...(?).

But in reference to your question about the relevance of Noah Feldman's "11-Year-Old article"... maybe the one thing we might agree on is that it shows CONSISTENCY in the relentlessly America-hating viewpoints of a dyed-in-the-wool liberal Democrat college teacher.

"Legal experts" of any variety are to be found everywhere, and at any time. Roland Freisler was regarded as one of the great legal minds of much of the academic and legal establishment in Europe. He transformed an entire legal system in Germany at a time when the Western world was in upheaval and disarray, becoming "President of the People's Court" and his scholarly expositions were widely regarded as revolutionary and 'avant-garde' in the world of European jurisprudence!

But would you welcome the opinion of this famous 'legal scholar' in a debate about whether someone had committed a crime or not...?

[IMG] .Opinions are like buttholes... everybody, Left and Right, has one.... :juggle:

Are you ok with how the gays are treated in the islamic world?

So, the article is fake and Feldman never wrote it? Is that what you are going with?

One wanted Trump impeached in 2017.. the Dems counsel wanted him impeached before he was even sworn in..

One supports Sharia law.. One ranted about White priveldge way back in 2006 were it was hardly the "woke" thing to do...

    Specially White Rich Straight Men....

The D's knew what they were doing they found idealogues as experts.. Meanwhile the Republicans hardly picked someone that supported Trump they picked a life long Liberal..

    That says it all.

It shows he’s sympathetic to radical Islam.

    Yes, that’s a bad thing.

If you agree that Islamic law is better, why don't you live where it is enforced? You will need to kill millions get Islamic Law in the West. And if you win... you will get what they have in the Middle East..... the closest thing to hell that exists on earth today. The most important policy position for America is a complete Muslim ban. Without that, we as a civilization are screwed.
