But I agree, tribbles may be all cute and cuddly but next thing you know they've eaten all of your quadrotriticale. (I figured we get to make up our own idea of what the OP was.)
Tribbles are very deceptive. They look soft and cuddly, but those ventral spines and the poisonous anal glands are a hazard for the unwary.
Tribbles are poisonous? No wonder Klingons don't like them, (and vice versa) They say the poison of the male duckbill platypus is among the most painful in the animal kingdom, though I have no idea where I heard that
Have you ever been stung by a scorpion? They like moist, dark places. Always, and I mean always shake out your wash cloth before using it. If it becomes untangled just as you reach a sensitive spot you will regret it and it's a pain that lingers.

Thank you That was definitely one of their best shows. I especially liked the part where the one last tribble fell out on the captain.
I most liked the ending. Where are the tribbles? What did you do with them? Well it was Mr Spoc's idea. But it was engineer Scott who executed it. If you're finished with this mutual admiration WHERE ARE THE TRIBBLES? We used the transporter. You didn't transport them into space!?!!?!! Oh no sir. That would be inhumane. Then what did you do with them????? We transported them to the Klingon ship just as it went into warp...
That apparently was unscripted Though I once went to a Star Trek convention dressed as a giant tribals with a small plate glued to my backside. I was “ Big tribble in little China”
I HATE all venomous things, rattlers and scorpions are the one good thing I can think of about not living in CA But I have to wonder if Space wouldn't have been more humane after all. I think the idea of a KSPCA is against all Klingon precepts, ( though there's really little glory or honor in hurting helpless things, even if you do dislike them)
'Allow' is not a word used in a balanced relationship. Recommend, suggest, beg and plead are safer terms.
Rattlers? I've been told they're like chicken, I never heard of anyone besided James Corden eating a scorpion Tribbles aren't edible, all fur.
I suppose our relationship is unbalanced then...perhaps I am a bit protective. Being in love can do that.
I've had rattler. Meh. Tribbles must have something under that fur to hold it all together. Maybe only a mouthful, sized just right for dipping.
