Ok I'll give you all the rope you need. You claimed republicans needed 60 votes in the senate to lower spending. I refuted that by pointing out budget reconciliation. You then claimed that reconciliation can't lower spending. I refuted that by citing the official congressional website explaining reconciliation and how it works, which allows for reducing spending. Please explain to me how those 2 direct refutations of your claims in any way constitutes a white flag?

I missed your explanation as to how a direct refutation of your 2 claims, with citation, is in any way a white flag? Everyone reading this is laughing their asses off by the way.

That undermines your statement that the Democrats control spending. Republicans controlled both houses of Congress AND the White House in the first two years of Trump's administration, when the deficit started ballooning.

Don't even pretend that Republicans care about the deficit. They make a lot of noise about it when they are out of power, but when they have power they spend like drunken sailors.

Republicans cannot reduce spending unless they control the Presidency, the House, and 60 votes in the Senate. Civics 101. What is so difficult to understand about that ???

So are you ready to explain why the congressional website itself says reconciliation can lower spending? Or are you going to continue denying proven reality?

There is a fine difference. Dotard inherited a healthy economy. Neither the tax cuts nor the roll back of regulations have increased the GDP much.
None of the of the promised 3, 4, 5 or 6% fantasies happened. Despite Trump, coal companies left and right are going belly up.

President Obama inherited the most serious economic crisis since the 30s, which he managed to overcome within 2 years. Since than GDP and employment have been rising steadily. Despite having for 6 years a Republican Congress.

It was done without any corresponding reductions in spending, which proves that Rs care more about reducing taxes than they care about the deficit.

Republicans only pay lip service to the deficit. They don’t really care.

No he inherited a anemic economy that needed trillions of injected money to keep is from failing.. You do not run a country this size on a 1.8% economic growth.. You cant even supply new grads with jobs at that rate!

We’ve been over this. You made a silly and easily proven false claim. 2 claims actually. I thoroughly disproved both of them, with citation directly from congress. You’ve been flailing about ever since. It’s hilarious.

The spending was not reduced because the Democrats would not allow it because Republicans did not have 60 votes in the Senate. Civics 101.

The recession was on it's last legs when Obama moved to the White House. Of course the Democrats, including Senator Obama, inherited the Congress in January of 2007 a year before the recession began and we were still on solid growth and unemployment was 4.5%. Obama moved over the the White House the same month the job loss rate finally bottomed out and the recession ended 5 months later on it's own. He tried that injecting of trillions into the economy and it totally failed to get us into a full recover and instead unemployment which was supposed to peak at 8% shot to 10% and the deficit skyrocketed.

Now we have one of the best economies ever and that has produced a full employment picture. You can't supply new jobs and expansion if you don't have the workforce to staff it. In order to increase output we have to increase productivity which is much harder to do and requires lots of capital. We also have to turn around the disaster of the LFPR under the Democrats and Trump just made a move to help on that with his tighten of work requirement rules for welfare and disability claims. Of course the Democrats are in opposition to those measures.
