We've heard a lot of discussion about how Democrats have been attacking our democracy by trying to steal what they couldn't earn at the ballot box in the 2016 presidential election, which is true, however, there's more to the Democrats' impeachment circus and the arrogance behind it. In what can only be described as spectacle of Orwellian political theater, last night Democrats impeached a president in order to obstruct justice - i.e, thwart the investigations into the corruption, money laundering and obstruction of justice in Ukraine that have implicated their presidential frontrunner Joe Biden and his son Hunter, amongst others. In doing so, Democrats have declared themselves above the law. What has made this theater of the absurd even more bizarre is how Democrats have wrapped themselves in the rule of law while declaring themselves above it and wrapped themselves in the Constitution while they abuse the power and trust the Constitution grants them. Compounding their errors, they have tried to convince the public that they are not adults and aren't responsible for their own actions and what they have chosen to bring on themselves and the country. Ultimately, what these scofflaws have proven is that they don't deserve and can't be entrusted with the only thing they care about - power. While their impeachment sham is DOA in the Senate, one can only hope that their attempt to put themselves above the law and obstruct justice is unsuccessful and that the American people will hold them accountable for their arrogance.
