You do have a need to quote out of context.
I claim higher education is inclined to do this. Doing calculus and upper lever science and physics certainly does . Living in a simple world is fine, but pretending you have all the answers is a Trump strategy geared to appease his followers. Higher education tends to increase your income level. It certainly has a dramatic positive effect,

It's because I have that background that I know that knowledge has no value or meaning in the absence of application. Furthermore, the inability to apply it (eg, knowing smoking kills but doing it anyway) is a very strong indicator of LACK of intelligence.

FTR, thinking that the addictive nature of many bad habits obviates this fundamental truth is a massive error. Intelligence is problem solving, and obstacles to success are problems. Habits, addictions, weaknesses, laziness .. whatever you want to call them, they are the same animal. Obstacles to success. The same applies to dysfunction (unstable relationships, etc). It's an inability to apply the knowledge that certain behaviours are detrimental to relationships. It's quite literally, dumbness.

No, it doesn't. All it does is build math muscles. If you can't apply that information successfully, it's even more apparent that it hasn't increased you in any way.

On the contrary, there is nothing 'simple' about insisting on the exercising of intelligence in all one's activities and relationships. Simple would be resting on the laurels of knowledge, while refusing to apply that knowledge in one's day to day life.

And what are “ math muscles “ ? That’s too funny.
It really doesn’t sound like a serious comment from anyone who claims to have a back ground in science . Trumplstiltskin and Moscow Mitch both professes not to be “ into” science. That pretty much puts them in the dodo bird range.
Mathematics is a language used to advance EVERY high level discipline....literally everyone and most mid to low level activities that require any intellect, also require some level of math, and the greater the better. So, where are these muscles found if not your intellect ?

Seriously ? Do you know how many geniuses smoked. Smoking is an addiction that transcends intelligence. Good grief man. I am smart enough to know that, and I’m a red neck .
Nearly 2% of medical doctors smoke according to the AMA.

No, we’re discussing why education increase intellect, which, increases earning power.
The Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) figures from 2017 show median weekly wages progressively increasing with educational attainment:

    • Professional degree: $1,836
    • Doctoral degree: $1,743
    • Master's degree: $1,401
    • Bachelor's degree: $1,173
    • Associate's degree: $836
    • Some college, no degree: $774
    • High school diploma, no college: $712
    • Less than a high school diploma: $520

Funny, you gave figures of earnings but didn't back up your intellect claim.

Funny....Are you claiming that people with lower intellect earn less ?
Or are you saying intellect and earning wealth are not related ?

The chart speaks for itself. Higher educated people earn more.
    Quote my intellect claim.
Btw, I know what does intellect means. Do you ?

So, if Trump uses cocaine and cocaine is bad for ones health, that would show a lack of intelligence, true ?

I know you haven't demonstrated a causal effect between education and increased intellect.

Well I find it hilarious that the supposed egalitarian left is so elitist.
I work a minimum wage job and realize I am expendable but someone still has to do the job. Not everyone is capable IQ wise of being game developers or rocket scientists. Not everyone has the EQ to manipulate and emotions as an actor/lawyer/politician.

Liberals say you should not be proud of being born in a country (patriotic) but then they are proud of their “achievements” stemming from gifts bestowed on them through birth like beauty, intellect, emotional intelligence etc

You’re right. My neighbor is a medical doctor and is a staunch Republican and Trump supporter. Geesus...he lost his mind.

Trump the Republican head says you should believe Putin and not all of our intel agencies. He’s proud to parade with dictators and criticize leaders of the free world. Moscow Mitch, senate leader of a party that in the last four years, has risen from 20% to 40% in support of Russia...Wow.

You earn more Money on average statistically with increased education. Are you saying because being wealthier as you increase your education does not show a correlation of education and increase in intellect ?
Causal effects discussions are ridiculous. That’s your uninformed rabbit hole. Science shows correlations.
