You said its Trumps fault another country shot down a plane and you call others posts thoughtless?

 

Tell that to the families of the 176 travelers who were accidentally shot down as a result of Iran's anti-aircraft outposts being on high alert due to Trump's threat of attacks against Iran's most revered cultural locations.

 

Hmmm...if the United States had not been in the Middle East (particularly Saudi Arabia), there would probably have been no 9/11. However, I personally completely supported Bush's action in Afghanistan, while opposing his invasion of Iraq. Rice supported the invasion based on false intelligence.

 

If we knew that, why were there no details included in the recent briefing to congress?

How so? Is killing a terrorist an act of war? if thats the case we have done it many many many times.

 

It is if that person is a General in a sovereign nation's military forces and you do it on foreign soil without the permission of the host country and fail to inform Congress in advance. Using the "end" to justify the "means" is the beginning of starting down a slippery slop.

 

That General was designated a terrorist by he Obama admin. There is no need(law) to inform Congress beforehand.

Just think for a second about the software most people use every single day now. Track packaging in real time, order online from multiple restaurants or grocery stores, software that can detect an issue with an Operating system, apply a fix or move the data to another server, load the software, configure then restart the machine and pick up seconds from the problem or in some cases milliseconds.

Do you think that takes a wand and happy thoughts to make happen?


I manage a team of engineers in charge of maintaining and building servers for well over 300 applications servicing millions of people around the world.

You cannot teach that knowledge base in an afternoon or even 3 months with full training which no one has time to do anyway. It takes years of certifications and training to be at that level.


H1Bs are not stupid because they are foreign. They are stupid because they are college aged kids who were rushed through an accelerated program designed to get them out the door not train them for the jobs they are taking from American workers.

 

You might have a gripe about not notifying Iraq however there is nothing you can point to that he had to inform Congress.. You cant point to other examples of "Congress" being notified before taking out a Terrorist can you?

Yes. The assassination of a State official, with whom we are not at war, would be termed an "act of war." Only Congress has the power to declare war. I have to run errands...will address the War Powers Act later.
