When did Soleimani kill and maim American soldiers, unless you mean our agents who were embedded with the terrorists?

Killing him had nothing to do with killing Americans, and everything to do with political expediency. We didn't want Soleimani to establish peace between Iran and Saudi Arabia, and to stop the war in Yemen. We have this idea that the only way our nation can maintain its control over the world, is by pitting one group against another.

It's a carryover from the British Empire. This is why the British drew the lines in the sand and why it enriched some nations, and impoverished others so they wouldn't be able to unite. Why do you think Ireland was separated and why do you think they allowed the Turks to invade and split up Cyprus?

In September 2007 President Vladimir Putin became the first incumbent Russian leader to visit Australia for the APEC summit in Sydney. ... The agreement was put into doubt after the August 2008 war in South Ossetia and Russia's subsequent recognition of Abkhazia and South Ossetia as independent states.

If you had read Woogs article from Moon of Alabama, you would know that the Iranians finally accepted the fact that they had killed their own people as well as others, when they found the cockpit. Before that there was no proof. The cockpit was hit directly and this is why the pilots were cut off immediately.

Why the Ukrainian airliner took off when there was a possibility of a war is beyond me. Someone said that two other planes wouldn't leave. Did the plane leave because the airline was having financial difficulty and they couldn't afford a delay? Who know?

Jeannette .... according to "b" at MoA, other planes had taken off.

    Here is what he said:
What I find inexplainable is that the crew of Tor M-1 air defense system did not really consider that the Tehran airport was operating and that civil traffic was likely. More the ten planes had already taken off that before the Ukrainian flight took to the air. The accident happened shortly after 6:00 am local time. Pure speculation: I suspect that a crew change has happened at 6:00 am and that the overnight crew did not really brief the one taking over.

Now, he doesn't cite his source on that (which he usually does), but it's at least partially confirmed with this in the Washington Post:

    — nor did Iran’s Civil Aviation Organization close the airspace over the country. At least three other aircraft were in flight near Tehran at the time of the downing, according to civil aviation monitors.

    https://www.washingtonpost.com/worl...a-971b-43bec3ff9860_story.html?outputType=amp

    ▪▪▪▪▪▪▪▪▪▪

Now, personally, taking the above at face value, I wouldn't think a new crew would have to be informed that the airport was open and planes departing/arriving, as "b" mentions. It should be obvious since the missile site was in close proximity to the airport and, as the Post states, at least 3 other planes were in the air at the time. And, really, how long does it take to say that the airport is open?

Given that, I am suspicious if this was an accident at all. I'll just leave it at that.

I have some suspicions too, but not towards the Iranians. Too much going on with the airline as well as with Boeing. As for the other flights, this is what Sobo said on the other thread. He's German, so it probably came from a German news source.

"...They said the airspace was blocked by Iranian air control. Lufthansa and Emirates diverted their aircrafts. Only the Ukrainian Air aircraft had a take off. Maybe communication problem?.."
Doesn't this contradict what the Washington Post wrote?

    Yes, it does.

It doesn't make sense to me that the Ukrainian plane was the only one to take off. Either the airport was open for flights or it wasn't. Obviously the plane did not take off without clearance. This was 4 hours after the middle attack btw.

Conspiracy theorists cling to the tiniest of possibilities.
Maybe this plane was shot down to help Trump get re-elected?
Maybe Bernie Sanders had it brought down to discredit Trump?
Maybe Harry and Meagan had it shot down to get them off the front page?
Maybe the queen had it brought down for the same reason?
Maybe the Australian govt had it shot down to take people's minds off the fires and global warming issues?

It's a wonder anyone flies planes anymore.

Ah... another conspiracy. Not only did he come to Australia and meet the then Prime Minister
Tony Abbot, but Putin sent his rubber duck navy over as well.

You will have to talk to the Commission about that.
These four Russians have yet to appear before the Commission.
Until such time as Russia co-operates she should be struck from international air travel.

Why are you comparing everything with US dids. US isn't the scale here.
The wrong doing in MI7 doesn't justify the wrong doing elsewhere.
I said they should have never let that to come to that 10 seconds. Their military base is practically near the airport.
When they are implying that US attack was expected and they were on their anti rocket system . Then they should never allow that plane to jump.
If they do let that to jump, then it's because they wanted it not because it was a mistake .
I mean how is that even possible that they didn't know . When they shot a missile on a target. Sth that importand they will examine the site right away and they check the flights right away. It's not sth that lasts this long. And if they really didn't know then on what basis they said it's a technical issue?
First , again US is not the scale here I don't see US as saint at all. And if some country does sth wrong it will not justify it elsewhere.
Second, what precautionary measure? Does internet threaten the security of the country in protest time?No it's only needed for the people to communicate to the outside world and send the videos and documents of what was happening. Jaming the internet is the violation of human rights is practically choking people and that's indefensible I'm amazed by you.
    As for the killings :)

I just referenced to what I said earlier on the thread.

Good analysis . I too think it was intentional but at the moment we can't dig more into it. Whatever it is , it relates to ukraine somehow ,Maybe the future events reveal the reason behind it.

Jeanette, Putin? Mr. Stalin Lite? Mr. Former KGB. Mr. Lets nationalize Oil, imprison the original owners, and line my and my sycophants and boot kickers pockets? Come on. Though I am curious, where is the free press? Where is the freedom of thought? Just where is the opposition? And in what book store in Moscow can you purchase the works of fiction and non-fiction of Ayn Rand? John Locke? Thomas Payne, or for that matter, what library in Russia carries those books. Putin a saint and savior? Only if you think Mother Theresa is.

Give me a break. You got eyes, look at reality. Anyone who thinks that Putin and Russia are friends of liberty, freedom of thought, and freedom of the press are the same fools who believe Iran practices freedom of religion, and is a great powerful nation all ought to bow to. My mission in life is not to prove fools wrong, but to enjoy it—one such way is by laughing at their idiocy, as well as laughing at CNN.

For about ten years in Iraq, Soleimani's forces, under his command, supplied the materials and training to Iraqi insurgents for setting road side bombs, which to date have killed and maimed thousands of American and coalition forces. There are class action suits in our courts right now, some already ruled in favor of for billions of dollars against Iran. Several banks that have illegally done business with Iran have had those assets seized and are being distributed among American family members and survivors of Soleimani's handiwork. Not to mention the recent killing of the American contractor and the storming and burning of our Embassy in Iraq.
