Well... looks like "the real world" just refuses to cooperate with the Trump Echo Chamber Conspiracy Theories.

The Justice Department... yep! Bill Barr's Justice Department.... has been able to find nothing to "lock her up" for. No Uranium, no emails, no child pornography ring, no j-walking in a school zone... Nothing!

A sailor was imprisoned becausr he took a picture inside the sub he was serving on. Hillary had classified emails on her private home server.
She deleted emails before congress could get them. All those emails were govt property

She got special treatment when putting national security at risk.

Any nonbiased person sees this Two tiered.

 

Just like the Trump administration.

It can now be said with certainty, EVERYTHING Trump claims about anyone else, is true for him and his administration.

That Trumpians are incapable of seeing this for themselves only proves how deep down the rabbit hole they have gone.

 

Terrible! Hillary was found not to have committed a crime. Trump is desperate because he's being impeached. McConnell is being exposed in public for the dishonest stooge that he is, thanks to Pelosi keeping the Articles of Impeachment in her control for just one extra week.... Bolton came out saying that he wants to testify...

One more week like this and we might even be seeing Trump's secret service being opened, Pence impeached and McConnell in even deeper shame than he is right now. It's horrible, I tell ya!

 

Yeah. Tier one, investigations must show she committed a crime. Tier two, she goes to trial.

It was not an email scandal. It was a server scandal. Plus I will wait for the actual report rather than a puff piece.

 

I’m sure the scandal was a Republican created scandal. Just like Benghazi. It was little more than Republicans having endless hearings and grandstanding, all in an effort to tarnish Hillary Clinton’s image.

Kind of like the great scandals of the Obama administration. Like when the Obamas had a romantic night out. Oh the horror of it all. Or when the Marine guard held an umbrella over Obama’s head. Can you believe such arrogance. Such corruption.

 

That's a wonderful interpretation of reality. Here's my interpretation: Pelosi looks like an idiot, the Senate was always going to wrangle and tangle with witnesses, and both sides might not get what they want. The House is in complete shambles and debacle, so I appreciate the #resistance and the whole government has fallen apart.

Even if Trump does get #impeached, the Democrats paid way too much capital to get it done.

Do you know how silly that sounds to my ears? “The House is in complete shambles and debacle”. “Pelosi looks like an idiot...”. sounds like you are just throwing crap at the wall to see what sticks. You come on here and pretend to be an intellect, like you really think things through, but then this crap, and all respect I had for you goes out the window.

It is even funnier, the idea that the Democrats are taking a hit for impeaching Mr. Corrupto. Trump has lost all credibility. Sure his Fawners will hang on, but the rest of the world sees him for what he is. An ignorant loudmouth with no redeeming value, other than to stir up the rabble.

And about his base, here's a little suggestion: In 2016, accusing Trump of being a Russian Agent failed to swing votes to Hillary Clinton. And by your own admission: In 2020, the campaign to claim that he tried to bribe or extort or quid pro quo the Ukrainians has equally not been successful.

The Dems might want to try a non-criminal accusation approach to defeating Trump.

 

They were predicting WW3 and it didn't happen. Now they have to invent threads to push all those "war prediction" threads out.

 

The day after the latest House was sworn in, there were the votes to impeach Trump. The expectation was that eventually enough Republicans would read the reports and that would be the end of Trump. Instead, we got one. Then the Ukraine affair hit. I have yet to hear a Republican refute the narrative that came out in the impeachment testimony, but rather to excuse it as normal behavior. Or to just blindly dismiss it out of hand. I’m sure John Bolton, if allowed to testify, will not paint a pretty picture.

I have watched enough speeches and interviews with Nancy Pelosi to know that she is quite intelligent, significantly more than Trump. Are you saying she looks like an idiot because that is what the guy on the radio told you?

Mitch McConnell held up the Supreme Court nomination for a year. Did that make him look like an idiot? I think Nancy Pelosi holding up the impeachment proceedings has done little more than to give more publicity to how proudly corrupt McConnell is.


Do you know what the impeachment of Donald Trump reminds me of? I watched a documentary once of the trial of one of those radical Black nationalist groups from the 60’s. They refused the assistance of a lawyer, because they didn’t trust the system.

There was overwhelming evidence against them. They had weapons and bombs in their house. There was other evidence linking them to several robberies and murders. They had no defense and so the trial kept devolving into them just making accusations against the cops, the prosecutor, the clerks, the judge, the system, America... on and on and on. That is what Republicans look and sound like like. In fact, at several points during the impeachment hearings, people like Jim Jordan and Devin Nunes were laughed at by the people in the hearing room, they were so over the top. Towards the end it had been discovered that Devin Nunes was in on the “drug deal” as John Bolton put it. For his questioning time, one of the Democratic Congressmen revealed this information to the world.

And of course you keep forgetting the part where two of Trump’s operatives were caught and arrested for funneling Russian money into Trump’s campaign. That Russian assistance just keeps on coming. And yet, you expect me to believe that Trump is all wonderful and all this mess is just Nancy Pelosi being an idiot.

The narrative coming out of the right is clearly not an honest accounting to those not susceptible to right wing rhetoric. We can see Trump on the world stage. Whenever he meets with world leaders he has clearly been in over his head. If you read the international press, you’d see that Trump has very little credibility around the world. Even Kim is back to mocking him.

The puzzling part is why anyone would be attracted to Trump, who would dismiss his obvious failings. I’m sure it has a lot to do with the ingrained liberals-are-bad meme.

The real definition of a liberal, as a type of person, is one who mostly rejects religion, preferring a more scientific view of the world. Among strong liberals, this tends to be a common thread. That and limiting the power of the rich and powerful. It makes me wonder if Trump is religion. I never fell for religion, never even believed in Santa Claus. I could never fall for “Trump is a good guy”. It is too far of a stretch.

But we have not heard a proverbial 'smoking gun' that said "Yes, he wanted to withhold aid for political purposes." Hell, the "political purposes" is the key word. If Trump can prove that he wanted Ukraine to show anti-corruption reforms before releasing any aid, there's the "case" right there.

It is noted of course, said lack of evidence is exactly why we've dropped the following: "Bribery", "Extortion' and "Quid pro quos", instead, laughably alleging an abuse of office in which case, the Republicans can say what is indeed an abuse of office to them or not.

And maybe not to Liberals, but to everyone else, Nancy looks like an idiot out there. This is twice within the decade(2010-2020) that she as House Leader pushed something that was divisive to the nation and ultimately just like the ACA, this too is going to collapse.

 

I keep returning to it, Trump, and the Trumpers too, now, they hate the right people.

This isn't "playing the race card" either. It goes beyond simple bigotry, these people hate LOTS of folks. It's more than just about EVERY minority that ever was or will be ( and women too, especially women.in fact) It's anyone who doesn't buy the conservative narrative and agenda, totally and completely, lock stock and pork-barrel-but-only-for-defense-contractors. And god help anyone who says ANYTHING bad about the Great Painted Golfer. You're a pedophile, terrorist, Muslim member of the Fifth Column that has been undermining Trump and MAGA since shortly after WWII.

And yes, I am trying to be facetious, but the scary thing is I can't, it's real.

 

According to the FBI, she used a server not authorized for classified material, to receive, transmit and store classified material. Not only that it was not in a protected location. It is against the law to improperly protect classified material.

 

The hearings clearly revealed that Trump was not interested in an investigation. The deal was just for a public announcement, nothing more. If Trump was really worried about corruption, why not insist on an investigation, instead of an empty statement.

The ACA was a creation of the Senate. The plan pushed by Pelosi and the House Democrats was quite a bit different, with a public option. The plan that will be pushed once Bernie is elected.

 

I have a brother who is an over the top Republican voter. He used to forward emails to me all the time. Most were crude insults against a certain person, or a group, but presented as if a joke. Rush Limbaugh would do that too, “She’s an ugly hag. I’m just joking folks, just joking, I don’t need to get people all riled up. Just joking”.

When I hear conservatives talk I hear them tell me all the people they don’t like. When I hear clips of Trump’s speeches, he tends to trash talk a lot of people. For this he seems to get his biggest cheers. Soooooo it isn’t religion, it is hatred of others that bonds them together?

 

Given that she had NO perceptible motivation to do this and substantial motivation not to the FBI concluded this should be considered under the technical term of a "mistake" Now the Republicans were quick to point out, (and still do) that the law makes no allowance for mistakes and we had every right, and nay, a Sacred Duty to string up a grandmother who put her Christmas lists on the wrong machine since, after all, she was also a Democrat

 

How do you make a "mistake" like that? Was she completely unaware of the security regs? Is she that stupid or that lawless?
