I'll delve into that study later, but I have to note that you are holding this one study as the end-all, be-all and rejecting literally hundreds of other peer reviewed articles - including the OP - as not persuasive.

I am fairly certain that Syria, at least, is a signatory. Not sure about Nicaragua.

Did you think signatories to the Paris Accord are jumping to their death?

What difference does that make? The democrats tell us all life on earth has 11 years, 4 months to go.
Put down the keyboard, buy a Ferrari 488 with a 12 year balloon payment, and settle down with a glass of wine and contemplate the fact Ivanka's second term will end about the time your payment is due.

Neither is an example of them claiming we only have 12 years left to live.

AOC is quoting an anonymous kid to make the point that her constituents want to know how we will address climate change, not saying that we have 12 years left, and Beto is saying that scientists recommend that we take major steps within the next 12 if we want to avoid some of the worst potential outcomes (which is accurate).

Yeah. Yeah. So is the Candy Man. Stay away from mirrors.

The only climate crisis Man is facing is whether or not he can warm the planet fast enough and warm enough to avoid the inevitable Ice Age that’s coming. One can only hope.

Where is the future (the plot only shows the past) ?? The plot shows an increase of 1.5 degrees Fahrenheit (that's ~ 0.8 degrees Centigrade) in 50 years. So what ??

1000 years ago there were no glaciers in Iceland. I was just there in August - the glaciers are going strong. BTW glaciers don't melt - insufficient snowfall causes them to recede.

Actually in this case the glacer did melt due to a volcano underneath it.

I am once again enjoying another global warming day, 70 degrees in January 2020.

The study is explicitly designed at trying to determine whether the temperature measurements match the climate models, not to predict the future.

You can look to the individual models that are being studied if you want an idea of what they expect will happen in the future. The TLDR is "The Earth will keep warming."

As for "so what," I would ask if you see any reason why the recent warming trend is likely to alter in the future?

I would think after my refuting your comment by providing a handful of lefties that have made that statement you would have skulked away but in true leftie fashon you come back for more so,
    Here you are,

What about the new democrat darling,
"Greta believes free-market capitalism is polluting the world to such an extent that humanity’s continued existence is at best uncertain. Students participating in her climate strike almost universally believe that barring the birth of a new eco-centric world order, the world will end in less than 12 years."
    Or,
Pete Buttigieg: We have 12 years before climate catastrophe
    or,
Bernie Sanders: 12 Years Left To Solve Global Warming, With NO Nuclear Power

Any group of model can be reverse engineered and selectively chosen to match history. Plus look at the range of predictions. What the big spread ??

Plus why would anyone be concerned about 3 degrees Fahrenheit per century which will be net beneficial. And as pointed out many times there is no proof that any on this is due to human CO2 emissions.

Did you take the opportunity provided by the OP to ask the author?

We can measure the isotopes of the CO2 concentrating in the atmosphere and the overwhelming percentage of the type found therein is the result of fossil fuel combustion.

    Again.

None of those are claiming that we have 12 years left to live. We have 12 years with which to take action or risk some of the worse outcomes.

Place tariffs in the amounts equal to the cost of absent environmental and worker safety regulations. That's fair and good business.

Have you asked those questions ??? Don’t you think they should be answered ???

Nobody questions that the atmospheric concentration of CO2 is increasing. The plants love it. But there is no proof that is causing the global warming we are seeing today.
