Stunning Data from Trump’s Ohio Rally: 42.8% of Attendees Identified as Either Democratic or Indepen

    Brad Parscale, the manager of the Trump campaign, is very data driven and following most rallies, he reports statistics about the attendees. I have posted about this after previous rallies. On average, 23% of rally goers identify as Democrats. For Toledo, OH, this number was 21.9%.

    The really stunning stat from this rally, which Parscale has never reported on before, is that 20.9% of attendees identified as Independents. This means that 42.8% of the 22,927 voters were either a Democrat or an Independent. And that is excellent news for President Trump.

    The baseline for Trumps rallies is something like 25% dems/independents in the crowd.

    Those numbers appear to be rising, which suggests increased appeal to Trump dems and independents.

    Combined with record fundraising-I think Trump is in a very strong position approaching the general election.

    There is no guarantee that these numbers (if true) will translate into votes in the Fall.

    Many people go to these "rallies" just so that they can say "I saw The President".

    Also, Trump's Rallies are chock full of High Comedy and People Watching.

    Everybody loves a Good Trainwreck, Etc...:flagus:

    So it shows high levels of crossover appeal.

    Nearly half of the people shown here are not Republicans.

    The worst of the worst of the Democrats get the most attention, but I don't believe they're representative of all Democrats. I'm not surprised at all that some more moderate Democrats might be migrating towards Trump, especially when you weigh his track record against their political stunts, unrealistic/bankrupting proposals, and out-of-whack priorities.

    The average Joe ---- and that includes Democrats and Independents ---- sees rising wages, lowered unemployment, tax cuts, and a renewed sense of patriotism with Trump, and it's going to be hard to convince him gender pronouns, global warming, reparations, and identity politics are more important.
