You don't focus on 9% to win elections

Name 3 southern racists who left the Democratic Party and joined the Republican Party and when they did it.

Now explain Grand Kleegal Robert Byrd.

Is that why Democrat’s continued to run the south into the 80’s, 90’s and in the case of Georgia, the 2000’s? Right after?

If you want to be accurate, the only thing that changed was a vote for president. The south slowly turned red over 20-40 years(whoa, did new generations come into being?)Not “right after Goldwater”.

The southern strategy existed, but it didn’t turn the south red.

Edit: the southern strategy myth perpetuation(your right after Goldwater statement) can not possibly explain how Jimmy Carter won the South and Bill Clinton won the south, both occurring after you said red took over. One of them was about ten years into the “right after Goldwater”.

It’s something that existed, the results are the myth.

A lot has been written about that but regardless (as you point out) no voting patterns were changed.

It was a classic example of phony "I'm a vicitim" claims. Quite dumb on her part.

It’s interesting that it never occurs to the progressive identity politics champions that the black caucus is indeed a racist organization. Are other races permitted to become members ??

The last election was decided by ~80,000 votes across three States.

I can appreciate the additional detail and I should not have implied that African Americans immediately shifted after Goldwater, but that the shift started at that point.

Which is ironic because Goldwater was the first to integrate a military organization - the AZ National Guard.

FWIW, eighty percent are registered Democrats. And ninety three percent voted for Obama. That gives Trump a ten percent gain.

Trump doesn't love anyone who is not himself ... I think his extreme narcissism gets confused with racism. He is incapable of true empathy, so understanding other people, other cultures, is beyond his ability. If a black person can help his brand, then he likes that black person - if not, he doesn't.

Prove it Legal. Your opinion means nothing.

Once again, prove it Legal. Your opinion means nothing.

Great theory with no facts to support it as usual.

Since April Ryan doesn't work for him why should he have asked her to set up a meeting? She's a reporter, not a secretary. The move looked sexist and unprofessional, at the very least.

Also, if someone ever wants to meet with Auntie Maxine or other members of the CBC, they should ask them directly. Would April be the person to ask because she's black? She's not a CBC member. April had good reasons to complain. It was an inappropriate request.

And the reporter brought it up asking for her help should have been taken as a compliment and she should have said absolutly and can I report on the meeting. What a story she would have had.

Sure, it did. Hence, the public complaints. The CBC is an advocacy group. There's a caucus for just about everything.

The more important fact is how racist a black
ONLY section of the govt is. Maybe Trump
should start a white caucus and see how it’s treated?

Cleary, I'm instructing you :) The lack of education because of political privileges was hardly the reason in the beginning.. You're chronology is pretty much all over the place.. Their place in America and around the world as slaves was an accepted practice morally and politically.. I guess I miss your point ¯\_(º¸º)_/¯

Slaves have political rights and liberties on par with citizens? You do realize the first federal welfare programs were dealing with former slaves right? Like teaching them how to read and write, get an education?
