Puerto Rico emergency director fired - warehouse full of Hurricane Maria supplies

    Ponce, Puerto Rico (CNN)Puerto Rico Gov. Wanda Vázquez Garced fired the island's emergency manager, hours after a warehouse filled with supplies was discovered.

    The emergency aid is believed to be from when Hurricane Maria hit the island two years ago, the governor said.

    Carlos Acevedo, director of Puerto Rico's Office of Emergency Management, was dismissed Saturday. The governor appointed Maj. Gen. José J. Reyes, the adjutant general of the Puerto Rico National Guard, to replace him.

    Earlier on Saturday, numerous pallets of water and other boxes with emergency supplies were found at a warehouse in the earthquake ravaged city of Ponce.

    They lied and lied and lied. For them to claim that only this Emergency Director knew is pathetic. This warehouse is state of the art and located on the same campus as a government office.

    Word finally leaked out and it took the citizens who raided the facility last week to expose the corruption.

    Apparently, ORANGE MAN WAS NOT BAD.

    It is quite clear that Puerto Rico used a tragedy to push a political agenda abandoning their people for partisan gain.

    A means to an ends.

    I dont fell sorry for the people of Puerto Rico at all. They will still vote for the same type of people that would do this to them. They deserve the government they elected.

    Democrats are so used to being wrong that they don't even care anymore. The media will never bring up their smear attacks on Trump for calling these people out. I believe this was the instance where we were all told he was throwing paper towels at people from a helicopter. That's one of the dumbest things I've heard.

    It "ended up" in the hands of the Local Puerto Rican government. We knew exactly where it went. Did you want more mouths to feed/house on the ground to distribute it too? That would be called stupid.

    Meanwhile our political Left blamed everything on Trump even though thinking people KNEW that the corrupt government officials were squirreling things away. Isn't it weird how very often it finally turns out that rather than it having really been Orange Man Bad it actually was a bunch of leftists . . . gone . . . bad?
