    Corporate investing and spending is largely speculative. When they perceive a friendly business environment, they invest.

    When they dont, they pull the reins and try to get through the storm.

    The markets are a great indicator of confidence, and the government, including the president, are a large part of shaping those perceptions.

    Investments in education such as expanding the GI bill. Thanx to such government assistance now more people never need to look back. What do you mean favors to minorities..all they needed was a path to education, they got it, and now look, whats the unemployment rate down to? Housing is still low, but that's a generation issue, and Trump has done nothing for the debt.

    Yea, people got on food stamps to feed their family while there was no money or jobs in the country..You prefer they starved?

    Red states I think still house the most on government assistance though, Has it changed yet...If not, why is that?

    Unemployment was at an all time HIGH for minorities when Trump entered office, now more people are employed including minorities due to businesses having faith in Trump they decided to stay in America rather than flee to other countries like they did under Obama. Trump created 6.4 million jobs you don't think he deserves credit?! Or are you going to reach and credit that Obama in some way too?

    No! It is preferred that they get jobs so they can feed their families and not be dependent on the government, which is exactly what liberals are trying to do keep people dependent on the government. Trump has created the jobs so people can get back to work!

    Sounds more like those same business that were just being spiteful when a black man was in office so decided to put the country on hold...Nether one seems plausible but if your gonna spew that garbage, the opposition can state that as well.

    I'm not giving Obama credit for those people obtaining an indemand skill that got them their jobs, nor should you give Trump that credit..The credits due to those individuals and their hard work. Obama gets credit for getting us out of a recession, and preventing another depression..all the rest after that is only thanx to your own effort.

    If I were you, I'd also stop voting for the likes of Trump and the GOP. They would take away your federal benefits in a millisecond, if they could.

    SS? If I remember correctly, neither you or your significant other work, and she is probably on SS disability assistance due to her disability.

    So, why is food stamps = bad, and SS disability assistance = good?
