So do you pledge allegiance under God, the Judeo-Christian one or under Alpha and Omega? And how can two be a "the"? Too bad when they wrote the DoI they didn't write it "Creator(s)"

As an atheist what policies do you think I push for and vote for that are different other than matters of faith being inserted into government functions.

I was in school in the 50's in Alabama and they didn't do payer over the intercom in school. And government school should not show favoritism or give sanction to certain religious faiths or any at all. Why should they?

Like Lincoln, Washington, Adams, Monroe Henry, and the vast majority, my faith is rooted in the Judeo Christian record. I do not adhere to the "rules" of an organized religion. Jesus Christ, crucified, and rose on the third day.....that is my tenant of faith. Believe on Him and you will be saved. That is the only requirement. No rituals, no actions or requirements other than that.

The Son of God who is the Messiah I was referring to never did anything that could be called a sin. He is our eternal salvation the only path to God the Father. Just because you all referred to Obama as your messiah on earth doesn’t mean that we would give that title to a mere President of the United States

Yes! We have the freedom to believe in or not believe in whatever god you can think of. The constitution precludes the nation from being a religious one. We are a secular nation of laws.

Policies that take absolutely no consideration into the possible metaphysical ramifications of them being implemented.

Same goes for atheists... they have no right to push their religion on our children. Or anything derives from a concept of the world without a God. Or teach them anything that opposes their religion. Like teaching them sex before marriage is ok, that homosexuality is ok, that being a gender you are not is ok, that we are just another form of animal, that we are decended from a common ancestor with apes. Etc...

These are all things i find offensive and that violate the first ammendment.
Heaven forbid however if we teach our kids not to steal, murder or lie...

Of course that's not true. If jesus existed, he certainly sinned since he would have just been a human. The only people who called obama a messiah were on the right. But, those same people treat trump as a messiah far more than the left ever did for obama. However, the conservative right doesn't even follow jesus' teachings. If god were real, it's followers would be leftists.

The difference is that most of those things are true. It is not religious persecution to teach truth is it?

So a religious test for all legislation ... really.

Which religion do we have to use? Yours? Of course - silly question on my part.

Of course it is. We absolutely are animals. And, it's perfectly fine to be homosexual. If your 'religion' teaches you that it's immoral to be black, that's your right to believe stupid things, but you don't get to argue against teaching against it.

So you've found a way to demonstrate the metaphysical without first starting with a belief system in the metaphysical - do tell.

Race and sexual preference are not comparable. One is a behavior one iscan attribute.

All science is an ongoing process - it's not a stagnant belief.

Not true. And that belief even adds to my point. If your religion teaches you wrong things, that's your problem. It's not up to schools to worry about all of the inaccuracies in your belief system is it?
