I'm sitting here watching Trump's State of the Union address. Why does he talk about "the previous administration" so much? Wouldn't it be better to tell people about his plans for the future? Why does he attempt to put Obama down all the time. Is he jealous of him?
Apparently a great many leftists don't recall how Obama spent years blaming Bush for everything under the sun. Obama was a total screw-up as a president. Why should Trump cover for him?
If you haven't noticed trump's 'pattern' yet that's because you haven't been paying attention. In the first place Obama plays into trump's hand because trump is a racist. Secondly trump only boosts himself up by putting down other people. The lower he can get you to think of Obama the better you will think of him.
I frankly don't want a president with pland for the future.. plans for the future usually mean more government. More laws, more taxes, more spending, all of that = less freedom less personal responsibility and lower quality citizenry. I want a presidents plan for the future to be less government, less spending, more individual responsibility and self sufficiency.
Obama came into office when the US was on the brink of a financial depression. He guided the country out of that. The economy that Trump always brags about was the result of Obama's actions. Trump could at least show a little gratitude.
Yes, it is much better to only think of self serving short term plans when guiding the current worlds largest economy. Screw long term plans — who needs those!
I dunno, maybe because Obama was a dirtball piece of garbage and it is nice to remind people of that once in awhile. Just guessing.
This is nonsense. I am still not convinced we ever were on the brink of a financial depression of epic proportion. The first year or so Obama gave very mixed signals to the business community, in one speech he caimed he would raise their taxes and increase regulations and/or put them out of business . The next speech he would promise to save the businesses and the working class employees. Obama created an unstable perception of the future economy, exactly what business, employers, and investors, fear the most.
You nailed it with the word “jealous”. Trump doesn’t fear Obama but rather what the former President represents. Trump does fear something will be taken away. Put the two together and you get the true meaning of “make America great again”.
Because an awful lot of his most ardent followers were and are “Birthers” and of those a majority were people who could not stand the thought of a successful black man
Obama is jealous of Trump and knew he would make a better President so he spied on him and used the full weight of the FBI/DOJ and his Administration to try and keep him out of office. It was pathetic and illegal and he should be brought in for questions under oath and under penalty of perjury. So should Lynch, Rice, Powers, Comey and a few others. His coup attempt failed and now America can prosper, once again.
That is not true. There are only a few as you describe, there are millions more that appreciate the success of a black man. Look around at the successful black men and black women that have the respect of so called conservative righties. I hoped for the best, but unfortunately, Obama was not successful.
Here's another one who actually thought that Obama had any beneficial effect on the economy! What improvement there was was nothing more, or less, than our illustrious 'central bank', the Federal Reserve System combine, flooding the world with hundreds of billions of imaginary, new dollars at the same time that they slashed interest rates to near-zero. They bolstered their effort with QEI, QEII, QEIII, 'Operation Twist'... and now? During the last half of last year, the Fed was at it again -- cutting interest rates on people's saving's accounts while they rescue Wall Street gamblers yet again, with a flood of more QE-style flood of money because of the "repo crisis". Presidents -- including Donald Trump and "Messiah" Obama -- don't save economies that are on the "brink of financial depression". That's bullshit! Since liberal Democrat, Woody Wilson, and his liberal klatsch of Democrats in Congress gave life to the Fed in 1913, it, and it alone, has made all the important decisions in the U. S. economy. Oh -- twenty years AFTER the creation of this 'central bank', the U. S. went head-first into The Great Depression. They control everything, and they know exactly what they're doing. Presidents may come and go, but they're just 'house pets' for the Federal Reserve to use as handpuppets to keep the 'cattle' from kicking down the corral.... . "Just make damn sure you bankers keep the FREE STUFF coming...."
Several years ago I read a book entitled" The Creature from Jekyll Island" that goes along with everything you just said. It was a very good book. Who was the author of that book? I can't remember.
He is named G. Edward Griffin. I've never read that book... instead, I've just read a LOT of history, taking care always to dig through the 'top layer' of partisan propaganda -- Left and Right. Here's a Wiki article on Griffin: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/G._Edward_Griffin
Thank you for that link to the G. Edward Griffin article. He is a very brave man to speak up as he does about the Federal Reserve Bank. I agree with a lot of what he says. And what he says mirrors what you've said.
Democrats forget about "post America world ", "managed decline", "new normal", and "magic wand" talk.
