@Cubed you don't know why he was fired. I will reserve judgment until I do.

Eugene Vindman was a WH lawyer.

I'm saying he has no grounds to sue. He served at the pleasure of the president.

    Vindman was "escorted out".

I don't think that anyone could consider it a surprise.

Trump has the mentality of an Immature Schoolyard Bully, and he wanted revenge..

That said, I heard that Trump had a safe trip back from NC.

True, the USA is a Democratic Republic, not a Socialist parliamentary system under a constitutional monarchy like you have up there.

They are both commissioned officers. They are bound to follow orders regardless of their feelings.

Morrison testified that Alexander Vindman went outside of his chain of command. UCMJ Article 98. Noncompliance with procedural rules is something he should be very worry about.

If they were going to storm the castle they had better take out the King. Life won't be so good for them if they fail.........and they did.

The left were overjoyed when Obama sacked General McChrystal but are now crying foul about Vindman who is just getting shifted.

    Seems just a tad hypocritical.

Of course you do. Nothing vindictive about that.
I want the next president to give him a promotion and a commendation for doing his duty in the face of threats from the Commander in Chief.

Will you feel the same when some insurrectionist conspires to take down a Democrat President?

What the hell did this guy do that was so awful?

He responded to a Congressional subpoena and told the truth under oath. Isn’t that what we expect of Americans, let alone the military?

    That is Fake News.

He was instrumental to the plot to overthrow the President, from its beginning.

What, exactly, did he do that offends you so much. Be precise.

What he did was he tried to inject his own false narrative into the transcript of the call between Trump and Zelenskiy. He basically "pulled a Schiff", and he tried to 'punch up the script' to make the phone call look more nefarious than it was.

Specifically, he testified that "Burisma" and "Crowdstrike" were never mentioned during the call, but he had also testified that he DID try and insert mentions of both into the official record of the call.

The relevant testimony can be found on Pages 62 to 65 where he admits he never heard Burisma mentioned.

Compare that to page 54 and 55 where he admits that he tried to stick Burisma in there, which was an obvious attempt to spice up the dirt against Trump.

A soldier bearing false witness against his commander is generally frowned upon in a military hierarchy.

Was that specific enough for you?

Less specifically, he was very critical of his Commander-in-Chief's foreign policy towards Ukraine.

And that's the scene in the movie where the cheeky twerp gives military advice to Longshanks, and he gets rewarded with a shove out the window of the castle.
