My mother went through five days of no water when she gave up the ghost. Instead of a dignified death, she had to suffer because Bible Thumpers oppose assisted suicide. I was in charge of visitors because my distressed father and sister checked out emotionally. It was so bad for people who came to see her suffer that I began to comfort people who all--every last one--became converts to assisted suicide, at least for the moment, without me offering an opinion.

Is Tehran Nancy pressing him to reduce entitlement spending, which is where most of that deficit comes from?

Well I'm not going to get in to some morbid pissing contest with you about cancer.. Ask any oncologist and they will always tell you that survival and how long is a case by case thing.. Some people have a miraculous remission(S) and some take as little as 30 dats after diagnosis.. And sadly some languish and tear your f%^king heart out..

Find someone else to have your lopsided idea and morbid debate with, I don't need you or want you to tell me what cancer is all about, tisst, shew!

I get it, but there are certainly those wonderful cases that survive.. And my heart goes out to those in close proximity to your relative that lost the battle with cancer!! I have never met anyone friend or foe that I would wish that sort of end for and their families to watch, it's painful, makes you feel frustrated, helpless and hopeless as a man :(

There's nothing dignified about that - which is almost certainly praising it with faint damnation.

trump's deficits come from having to buy tons of toilet paper so that he can wipe his giant butt.

Of course, it varies. I gave you the overall stats.
You're awfully nasty, so I'll take you up on your offer.

The GOP's fiscal malfeasance BEGINS with their Contract ON hardworking Americans and goes DOWNHILL from there. They have effectively STOLEN wages and bonuses from middle class Americans and given them to the Wall Street Casino Banksters and the wealthy elite 1%. The MASSIVE national debt is ENTIRELY the FAULT of the GOP and so was the 2008 economic collapse.

Your criminal IMPOTUS is TRASHING all of the safeguards We the People have to protect ourselves from the rapacious depredations of DEREGULATED corporations and illegally ENRICHING himself by making TAXPAYERS pay for his PERSONAL EXPENSES at his own resorts. But by far the WORST of his policies are his CRIMES Against HUMANITY by ABDUCTING small children from their Asylum seeking parents. For that alone he needs to spend the rest of his life behind bars IMO.

Needless to say ALL of the FACTS above will trigger Cognitive Dissonance among criminal IMPOTUS supporters.

In retrospect the main executive overreach provided by Article 2 is the power of the President and the Senate to bypass the House (the people's chamber) to sign treaties that are effectively legislation. The framers didn't see how treaties could be used to bypass the legislature, nor their prolific use in the modern age.

Other than that executive power has been expanded by:

    1. The Supreme Court, which is given far too much power in my view and has consistently taken a pro-executive view, especially a pro-Federal view.

    2. Delegation of legislative responsibilities to the executive by Congress so they avoid the judgment of the people.

Bring back the Articles of Confederation!

Have you ever actually READ that load of idiocy?

    https://avalon.law.yale.edu/18th_century/artconf.asp

Poor people were DENIED the rights of citizenship?

WTF does that load of gobblydook mean?

Gotta LOL at that idiocy given that it was the single biggest FAILURE that CAUSED the COLLAPSE of the Articles of Confederation. All it took was a SINGLE STATE to REFUSE to make their CONTRIBUTION and it all fell apart thereby exposing the FALLACY of Libertarianism.

    :roflol:

The above is a real DOOZY of OBFUSCATION! Just trying to untangle it isn't worth the effort.

But it DOES say VOLUMES about the mindsets of those who tried and FAILED to legislate LIBERTARIANISM.

One hand giveth and the other taketh away!

The other article that FAILED just because a SINGLE STATE REFUSED to pay their share of the bills!

    :roflol:

That is what YOU want to IMPOSE on the We the People?

REPEATING the same MISTAKE means that no lesson was learned from it.

But do go ahead and try and get We the People to buy into that load of claptrap.

Obviously I didn't mean to copy and paste the text of the AoC into law. I view it as a vastly superior document due to the much greater emphasis on local autonomy.

The unanimity rule was essential, comparable to what the EU now has and will soon scrap.

Indeed this is not even a left/right thing, it's moreso a centralised v decentralised government thing. Progressive historian Merrill Jenson points out that with nearly all powers in state hands and the representative:citizen ratio a lot lower that individuals were able to exercise much greater control over their respective governments and suggests that this should have been expanded to remove property qualifications for voting while preserving government on a local level.

There are lessons to be learned from the Articles. I firmly fall on the anti-ratificationist side of that debate, in large part because most of the concerns of the anti-rats were validated with the hindsight of history - the executive did become too large, the Feds did raise a Federal professional army which justifies its existence through perpetual war, etc.

Do you generally prefer democracy on a local level or in large electorates? I think it works much better in small jurisdictions, where Federal or supranational governments have little sway.

The IMPORTANT lesson is that Libertarianism DOES NOT WORK!

It has always been an abject failure and it just FAILED again TWICE in Kansas and Louisiana.

The SIZE of government is proportional to the POPULATION.

A nation as large as America NEEDS a strong central Federal government.

The current system needs to be UPDATED to accommodate the changes over the last 200+ years by ELIMINATING the FAILURE of the EC and instituting DIRECT voting for ALL elected positions. That is the only way to ensure that all votes are EQUAL.

What is truly sad is that you do not see it in yourself to condemn racists dick Clinton who was upset that instead of serving them coffee, Obama had the nerve to run for the Presidency, and ole Joe Bite_me who marveled that there's finally a black man who's clean-shaven and articulate.

This is what you're not condemning, and even happy about.

    Sad :-(

Wow, a challenge, no less! My friend, English is not my first language and not even a second; still, I believe I can coherently splain myself anytime I post something. It is you who should learn how to use a spellchecker!
