Incorrect. He has hired his doctors out of his own pocket and he like many of us have opted out of everything related to the ACA, it actully costs less than paying premiums for worthless insurance.

 

Too bad you can't provide any credible substantiation for your allegation.

Paying out of pocket for cancer treatment is horrendously expensive and I know all about it because I had to do it prior to Obamacare.

Same here, I started smoking when I was 14 and just walked away from it at 19 once I was sat down and had it explained to me how much it had cost me to buy cigarettes, by a girlfriend who stated she couldn't hang out with me anymore if I didn't stop smoking.

A couple of years later I walked away from her for the same reason, she became too expensive by insisting on having children, something I was totally unwilling to pay a dime for.

That is not the important lesson at all. This has very little to do with libertarianism, it's about the style of government and where political power resides: close to the people on a level recognizable to the common man, or centralized in a strong national government.

If you want the government "close to the people" then you must SUPPORT the abolishing of the EC because that imposes a BARRIER between the people and the head of the strong national government.

 

I was speaking in support of the Articles, not the 1789 constitution.

The electoral college is a way to keep the separation of powers between legislative and executive branches while doing what pretty much every other Western nation does - electing their head of the executive through votes in many electorates.

You are right I do not support this system - instead I support the Federal executive having strictly limited powers like the rest of the Federal government so decisions are made in local communities closer to the individual.

I doubt that doctors can help someone with terminal lung cancer if they get the virus.
What I do find ironic, as I watch trump spouting his self serving bullshit about the virus while the bodies keep piling up, is that he may be brought down by a lowly virus like in war of the worlds.
He keeps making it about himself and defending his statistics rather than acting as a national leader, and people watching him are feeling more and more disgusted with his interminable puerile stunts and complete self absorption.
Perception is everything, and trump is failing badly just as the election is looming. But you gotta love karma. He could have responded like Bush jr did after 9/11 and almost guaranteed himself an election win, but he has chosen to grouse, distract and complain about how it affects him and his economic stats, and every time you hear him on tv, you realize what a complete asshat the man is.

He didnt mock Micheal j fox. He did talk about him and his testimony to congress. He talked a lot about today's medicine and the medicines involved that help the shaking and conditions. He was very informative.

MSNBC edited a video of Rush ...increasing the speed...to make it LOOK like he was mocking mjf and they were called on it and admitted to it. Fake news. He did say that by not taking the meds in front of his testimony, MJF was exaggerating the disease for affect. And that is hard truth some people dont like.

In today's world with all the liberal hatred out there towards Rush, I recommend taking the time to actually listening to him.

 

Not going to waste my time on a POS like Rush because he has nothing of any value to contribute.
