Wall St. billionaire Nelson Peltz is hosting a fundraiser Saturday night for Donald J. Trump at his palatial Palm Beach estate, cost to attend $580,600 per couple. There will be at least 30 attendees. This will add another to the at least 48 intimate dinner fundraisers held for Trump since October 2017.This is the most expensive one to date.
In WHAT WORLD is this how swamp draining is accomplished???by kissing up to millionaires and billionaires who are not donating unless their interests are being served.

Costs to attend the known previous 48 intimate fundraising dinners for Trump have ranged from $50,000 to six figures per person.

Ah. But look at the extra benefits you get: you get to break the law and a free presidential pardon is included, or an AG to get you off with a slap on the wrist. Your choice of a position in the diplomatic service or as a judge, or maybe even in the cabinet for none of which you are qualified...

They certainly aren't attending because of Dirty Donalds warm and fuzzy personality.

I'm starting to think Bloomberg is the next President. Based on what I saw today, I may support him.

He pointed out that he and trump know many of the same people. And they all think trump is a clown. When trump isn't around, they laugh at him.

That is going to really bother trump. Bloomberg knows how to hurt him. And he is far richer than trump. He has the wealth and the power to beat him. The Dems haven't produced anyone else who I think can definitely beat trump. But maybe Bloomberg is the guy.

    He does

And interestingly Bloomberg has many attributes that have been lauded for Trump eg Self made millionaire (he is what Trump claims to be)

Dirty Donald has no ethics, morality or religious beliefs, the only thing he worships is his own graven image.

If his money holds out and he pays off the current candidates for their support perhaps he CAN buy the presidency after all.

He is offering little people $150 to post nice about him.

He is certainly no more racist than Dirty Donald who raved about how great stop and frisk was.

What's Bloomberg's delegate count after two contests? How many people ever won the White House with zero delegates at this stage, in modern politics? You know there is something wrong with this situation if the mayor of South Bend is outperforming the former mayor of NYC...

Bloomberg was not a listed candidate in any of those two primaries.

The swamp is not millionaires and billionaires as much as you lefties would want to believe. The swamp are politicians. Leftists and rhinos specifically.

Btw your nomination is likely to be won by a billionaire who bought it.

And you think dem supporters are out there throwing trash without serving their own interests?

A smart person knows you don't become wealthy by accident or stupidity, but by wisdom and judgment uses judiciously. It doesn't matter if you have wealth or not- serving your best interests is usually serving the best interests of the nation. Business can't thrive with a poor populace- they want all of us to do well. If we don't, they can't either. On the other side of the path are those who think the only reason they aren't rich is that someone else is, so they want a government who will steal from the rich and give to them. In their ignorance of basic financial realities, they think that is "their interests".

    It's very simple.
IF I do something that improves the world for all- I have done something that serves my interests, because I live in this world.
IF I do something that improves my position as the expense of others- I have served only my personal interests, and intentionally harmed the interests of others.

I realize the truth of this will go over your head like an orbiting satellite, with you totally unaware of what it means.

    This is true.

Dem supporters who make donations, in exchange expect education, freedom, healthcare, equality, ... all in their own personal self-interest. Trump donors are the same. They got tax welfare from Trump last time around, and if they want more government welfare, they need to cough up.

What each one of us needs to figure out is which of these benefits the rest of us more.

Uber rich people aren't eligible to have a stake in our election process for fear of "buying" out our elected officials while candidates you support are literally running around being bought by citizens on the premise of giving them free ****.

    Oh, the irony is thick.

    Cool, are you going?
BTW, if Bloomberg gets the nod from the dems, we will anxiously be awaiting your grumbling about millionaires and billionaires.

Instead of wasting money on political campaigns, I'd rather see these people invest in new businesses. What a waste of money! Good for the advertising industry I suppose.
